BY ROYAL DECREE OF HIS MAJESTY, STANISLAUS GRABOWSKI
King of Poland, Defender of the Crown, Sovereign of the Realm
LET IT BE KNOWN TO ALL NOBILITY, COURTIERS, AND SUBJECTS OF THE KINGDOM,
That by the grace of Almighty God and the enduring wisdom of the Crown, we do herein affirm and decree the duties, honors, and obligations entrusted to the Noble Estates of our realm, that they may serve the Crown and the People in dignity, loyalty, and splendor.
ARTICLE I
Courtly and Ceremonial Duties
- Nobles shall attend royal functions, including but not limited to coronations, royal weddings, state banquets, and national celebrations, in full ceremonial attire and accordance with courtly protocol.
- Nobles may be appointed as royal representatives to foreign courts, embassies, and international ceremonies, bearing the dignity of the Crown abroad.
- In all official processions, certain nobles shall bear the regalia of the realm—such as the Sword of State or the Royal Crown—with solemnity and reverence.
- Nobles shall host regional celebrations and festivities in the name of His Majesty to strengthen bonds of loyalty within their provinces.
ARTICLE II
Advisory and Parliamentary Roles
- The Nobility may sit within the Senate as royal petitioners and advisors, lacking legislative power yet empowered to provide counsel on national matters.
- Nobles may be summoned to review petitions from subjects prior to their presentation before the King, ensuring order and propriety in public discourse.
- By command or appointment, nobles shall serve on royal commissions and advisory councils, especially where matters of diplomacy, tradition, or noble privilege are concerned.
- Nobles shall advise the Crown on regional and provincial issues and represent the cultural voice of their lands at court.
ARTICLE III
Cultural and Charitable Patronage
- Nobles are encouraged to act as patrons of the arts and education, supporting institutions such as museums, academies, and universities in the name of His Majesty.
- They may found charitable institutions—such as orphanages, hospitals, or scholarship funds—under Royal Charter and with the blessing of the Crown.
- Nobles may host public forums and town gatherings to gauge the sentiments of the people and prepare proposals for non-binding policy petitions to Parliament.
ARTICLE IV
Military and Honor Guard Positions
- Nobles may be granted honorary command over ceremonial units, particularly within the Royal Household Guard and other prestigious formations.
- They may serve as Colonels-in-Chief of traditional regiments and act as sponsors to military academies and institutions of martial excellence.
- Nobles are to conduct inspection tours of military and civic establishments, reporting their findings and observations directly to the monarch.
ARTICLE V
Regional Prestige and Loyalty Management
- Nobles shall maintain loyalty to the Crown among the people of their province, and shall support the unity of the realm in all things.
- They shall serve as intermediaries between the Crown and regional officials, particularly in times of unrest or political tension.
- Nobles shall host and accompany the King during royal progresses, thereby strengthening the Crown’s visible presence throughout the land.
ARTICLE VI
Symbolic Duties in Government
- Nobles may be commissioned to deliver ceremonial speeches or to open sessions of Parliament or Senate on behalf of His Majesty.
- They shall bestow royal honors and awards in the King’s name upon subjects whose service to the realm is deemed exceptional.
- Nobles shall preside over national observances, including religious festivals, memorials, and events of historic or commemorative importance.
