"Some of the equipment you mentioned you didn't mention the variant. Are you speaking of their original variant? Also, for parts procurement , where will you be getting the parts? One thing is that I have to state Russia cannot be liable for third party parts that may not stand up to our quality control."

"I will check the specific variants and we will submit them to you for review. Regarding the procurement of parts, we would like to produce spare parts locally, obviously not makink Russia liable for any potential imperfections or technical problems, taking full responsability for them. Also, we would not be exporting any of these parts or maintenance services to third countries without the proper authorization from your Government or the authority designated by you. In Egpyt we value the intelelctual property and the rights of production, thats why we were contacting you in the first place."

"Excellent! For efficiency-issues, would it be posible to obtain the rights for all variants of the mdoels mentioned above? My technical personnel informs me that it would be very time consuming to look for the specific variant of each model we currently operate. I can guarantee you we will not make use of any plans or parts from variants we do not alreayd operate.

As for the present dialogue as a door-opener for future increased relations, we could not agree more. If you are interested, you could refer us to the corresponding russian authority in order to begin talks related to commerce and political coordination."

"We cannot provide rights for the models as that undermines our own ownership which we have been trying to secure. We can however provide production licenses in which you provide us a percentage fee per unit produced. We have already worked out such a deal with japan. I believe that such a deal would work with Egypt as well.

"Sorry if I expressed me wrong, I was not referring to production rights for the products itself, but the licenses to do maintenance on all models, in order to cover the ones we actually have. Having to get the exact model variant of all products we operate is a very time consuming taks, thats why."

"I don't see why there would be any issue with that. Give me just a couple of days to get you that information. Most possibly we will be refurbishing and repurposing some civilian factories in the outskirts of Cairo and Alexandria."
