Chief Justice Olhouser, I salute you on behalf of the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt. I contact you with a specific query, regarding the scope and jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice you honorably preside. We wish to consult if it is possible for non-GA Parties, such as my nation, to submit international legal cases to be reviewed and ruled by the ICJ, based on Art. 10.2 of it Statute "The Court may settle disputes between corporations, states, individuals or any combination of these three in the event the case resolves around an international dispute." Obviously with the commitment of my nation to abide to the ruling of the ICJ. This obviously parting from the fact that the GA and the ICJ are separate and autarchic entities, and mantaining the current legal status quo of Egypt vis a vis the GA. As I'm sure you know, we have just held nominations and elections for the new Associate Justice positions. Also, I have been appointed again as the Chief Justice. I wanted to wait until these elections were over with until I contact you back, so I thank you for your patience in waiting for my response.

In response to your questions, I have the following to say. Myself and representatives from the Global Assembly have worked to reform the International Court of Justice so that it is a more autonomous organization, yet still has some oversight over the Global Assembly. So yes, it is possible for Non-GA states/organizations to submit international legal cases to the ICJ, and we will be happy to hear it. These reforms were made to be inclusive of the entire international community without bias of their status in the Global Assembly, baring some exceptions. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope we can meet in the future.

Chief Justice Olhouser, Thank you very much for the reply. I would like to inform you that the Arab Republic of Egypt will be submitting a case against an important international company. The egyptian State will be represented by a legla firm we recently hired to carry forward the legal procedures. We would like to thank you for the opportunity to present this case, which involves a rather large sum of money which is in our understanding being withel illegaly and against the signed contract by this company, regardless of our status as a Non-GA Party.
