All assigned units would prepare their equipment and pack their bags the night before departing from their home bases around the national territory.

They would be transported towards nearby areas that were prepared to begin the paratrooper training by setting up jump towers of different highs for the troops to practice the basic techniques they needed to master before jumping from a flying aircraft. Instructors were ready to receive them and go over the basics.

They would firstly go to theoretical instruction where they would learn about different jumping, directioning and landing techniques as well as learning how a parachute works.

After the first lessons where completed, the different groups would continue their theoretical training with the studying of the different parachute systems and basic metereology classes.

During this whole time, they would also be carrying out physical training an exams.

On the last part of this stage of the course, they would begin practicing the different body positions with instructors and doing practice landings from the Lateral Drift Assembly.

Finally, then they would move on to see the airplanes on which they could operate while serving in the Egyptian Ground Forces: C-130H Hercules. They would visit some of them in the airfields and familiarize themselves with the interior and procedure for jumping.

The groups would continue their ardues training and finally pass to a more practical-orientated stage of the course.

Having already mastered the theory and techniques of parachuting (jumping, manouvering and landing) they would now focus on jumping from practice towers.

There would be different highs, and the troops would progressively go from the lower towards the more higher ones.

They would also make excursions to the area as to see, together with their instructors, different terrain types commonly found around Egypt, large arid flat, as well as sandy terrains and learn the best landing techniques for each to lessen the chances of accidents and injuries.

They would also begin using the 3 vertical winds tunnels specially brought and installed.

The date of their first real jumps from the aircrafts was nearing.

After completing the established sets of jumps from the different towers, the separated groups would move on thir first real jumps.

They would be formed in groups and first beginning to peform relatively low altitude jumps in tandem with instructors. This first part would be performed from the assigned C-130H of the Egyptian Air Force. They would do at least 2 jumps each, with this methodology. Once on the ground a vehicle would pick them up and drive them back to the landing strip, where the aircraft would be awaiting them.

Once all troops would have completed this section, they would move on to perform a third jump, alone now, but with light gear.

During all the training the personnel would be resting, exercising and eating well.

Finally, the last stage of the Paratrooper Course arrived. This consists of individual jumps from the standard aircraft destined for paratrooper operations of the egyptian air force, the C-130H.

The soldiers would perform 3 jumps each from the mentioned aircraft. 2 during daytime and the remaining one during the night. All would be done in the usual training grounds around their bases, resulting in a complete mastering of landing in flat terrain, including arid desert lands and coastal areas.

Once all soldiers would have completed their 3 scheduled jumps, they would head back to the barracks where they would rest and eat.

The next day the graduating ceremony would be carried out and all units and soldiers would receive their correspondent insignia, prooving their Basic Paratrooper skills.

Training complete.
