» About Us The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation is a egyptian national oil and gas company. » Investment opportunities EGPC is proactively looking for new opportunities to expand its business towards new horizons and new opportunities, both nationally as well as nationally. This includes not only an entire Department dedicated to the study of potential transnational partners along the multiple links of the productive chain, as well as an important group of agents ready to recive business propositions and to jointly study the projects and find mutually beneficial business opportunities. EGCP has decades of experience in prospecting, development and commercial exploitation in the oil and gas industry, and boost its own fleet of large sized oilers and tankers. » Permits, licenses and assets EGPC currently operates all egyptian oil and gas related industrial facilities and commercial offices. It operates nine refineries that are capable of processing crude oil at an estimated rate of 726,250 barrels per day (115,465 m3/d). The largest refinery is the El-Nasr facility located at Suez. It is able to process 146,300 barrels per day (23,260 m3/d). Egypt's reserves of natural gas are estimated at 66 trillion cubic feet (1.9×1012 m3), which are the third largest in Africa, are also currently exploited by EGPC. Refineries run by EGPC in Egypt*:
