From the point of view of the commonwealth being that financially and in regards to security. The Fiji government wishes to inform the British crown that it's stance has not changed since the 1987 coup and it does not recognize Queen Elizabeth II as our head of state. Queen Maari Wasasa has now been given that title. We do however do not wish to break all ties with her majesty's government. We are willing to trade with British overseas holdings in the pacific and assist in security of those islands. We also wish to inquire about a Fearless-class landing platform dock.
