Adana Airport
Mesut Yilmaz would decide after a month of hiding in the southern City of Adana that this was the time to make a run for Israel, he would be accompanied by two bodyguards and two loyal aides who would ride with him in their escape aircraft, a Cessna 206 Parked at Adana International airport and readied by sympathizers. The President would send a one way encrypted message to the Israelis that he was on the move and heading for Rosh Pina Airport very soon So they should be ready for an aircraft out of Turkey to enter Israeli Airspace.

The President and his confidants would drive through the city in a heavily tinted SUV, avoiding Security Checkpoints that had sprung up across Turkey in an attempt to seize Illegal Jews and Dissidents such as himself, in fact the streets since the de-facto coup had become greatly different places since he was in power, now billboards and patriotic signs across the city called on Turks to enlist in the armed forces, report Jewry, and be on the lookout for foreigners who seemed out of place. Things were also much worse economically, poverty was everywhere but many seemed as though nothing was amiss and life in Turkey was happy and great because of the Ruling Nationalists or as he called them, Nazis. Gendarmerie forces were essentially the secret police, raiding homes and business at will if even the slightest thing was out of place or suspicious yet people loved the government and were willing to put their life on the line for it’s cause which shocked him to a degree.

As the Car Approached the airport they would be let in via a back gate by a few former CHP supporters that were also airport employees coincidently and supportive of the Former President’s escape. The Renault would pull into a small craft hanger and an engineer would pull off a tarp covering an aged by still airworthy Cessna 206 that could get them all the way to Israel, yet they knew nothing of the recent radar and SAM upgrades as a part of Operation Mamluk. The president and the others would board the plane with the two guards holding M1911 Sidearms and looking around the ensure the saftey of the former president.

Taxiing across the tarmac the plane would request permission to take off with the destination set for the western City of Izmir as far as the ATC knew Though of course the destination was Rosh Pina Airport. The Callsign would be Cerca Indy One

”Permission for takeoff Adana Control”

”You do not have permission for takeoff Cerca Indy One, please taxi to the nearest hanger and await further instruction.”

Off in the distance bright blue and red flashing lights could be seen at the opposite end of the runway with several Otokar Police ZPT and a Condor 4x4 APC racing towards the aircraft, additionally from what the he Could see out the windows 20 Nissan D40 Police vehicles began to enter the airport with heavily armed Gendarmerie officers in the bed of the Truck Ready to arrest him. The Pilot would ask for the Former President what he should do of which his response was simple; “Fly or die”

The Plane would accelerate down the runway right towards the police vehicles that were now a mere 1/3 down the runway and closing but the plane could take off A very shot runway since the airport runway was made to service jumbo jets and Military Aircraft. As the plane accelerated the group would hear gunshots from both police groups and then the boom of the APC’s 20mm cannon firing up into the air towards the plane, narrowly missing it but it was too late since the plane was already lifting off and heading higher than the APC could aim.

The Cessna would takeoff unharmed but not yet out of danger since it now had essentially half the Turkish Air force ready to gun it down, it’s only hope was the Israelis.

General Dynamics F-16D Fighting Falcon deployment from Ramat David Air Force Base

TOP SECRET
The Northern Air Defence Regiment based at Ramat David Air Force Base would be hard at work protecting Northern Israeli airspace when one of the radar operators detected the plane using its AN/FPS-117 radar, due to the range being roughly four hundred and fifty kilometres as the crow flies. The radar operator would follow the trajectory of the aircraft and noticed it was turning south towards Israeli airspace which resulted in him reporting this to his commanding officer who would pass this up the chain to the relevant department for a threat assessment. They would gather as much information such as the speed of the aircraft which was significantly lower than that of a fighter jet.

Two of the General Dynamics F-16D Fighting Falcons belonging to the 109th "Valley" Squadron based at Ramat David Air Force Base who had been placed onto 'Priority Reaction Alert' which allowed them to deploy at a moments notice due to them already being prepared as part of Operation Cast Lead and with the aircraft being fully fueled and loaded with an armament which allowed them to complete their mission of intercepting the aircraft and evaluating whether it was a threat to Israeli airspace ((1 × 20 mm (0.787 in) M61A1 Vulcan 6-barrel rotary cannon, 511 rounds, 6 × AIM-9 Sidewinder, 3 × AIM-120 AMRAAM, Lockheed Martin Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod, SUU-42A/A Flares/Infrared decoys dispenser pod and chaff pod and AN/APG-68 radar).
