[FRA]: Call to Iran

[Ellie]

Jean-Yves Le Drian, the Minister of European and Foreign Affairs, would use a secret and encrypted phone line to contact his Iranian counterpart.

 

[Curristan]

The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Azar Sharif would immediately accept the phone call, eager to begin diplomatic relations with a power such as France.

 

[Ellie]

"Good day, Minister Sharif," Le Drian would begin, "it is my honor to be the one to begin relations between France and Iran. I hope that we will be able to achieve diplomatic, militaristic, and trade relations between our great nations. To begin, would you be willing to tell us of Iran's foreign diplomacy ideals?"

[Curristan]

"Good day Minister Le Drian, I am hoping that Iran and France can establish a strong partnership. Our foreign diplomacy ideals are to be friendly and courteous to all nations while protecting Iranian interests. I hope to make Iran a nation that other nations can interact with, without any suspicion marring any discussions."

 

[Ellie]

"That's wonderful to hear, Minister Sharif. I believe that our nations would benefit really well if we were to begin trade. France's main exports are machinery and transportation equipment, aircrafts, plastics, iron and steel, pharmaceutical products. France itself would be interested in importing petroleum from Iran."

@Curristan

 

[Curristan]

"We would be very happy to export petroleum to France at a very reasonable price. We hope we can buy equipment from you at some point to build up our armed forces, especially our navy which is still its early stages. Also I hope both our nation's can become firm allies and work together."

 

[Ellie]

"That's good to hear, Iran will be able to export the petroleum to the Port of Marseille. As for buying equipment, France would be willing to sell some products to you. To show our goodwill towards Itan re-entering international diplomacy, we would be able to sell to its navy: the Clemenceau-class Aircraft Carrier for 35,000,000.00$, 40 Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard to fill the carrier at the price of 12,500,000.00$/unit for a total of 500,000,000.00$, 2 PR-72P-class Corvettes for 75,000,000.00$/unit for a total of 150,000,000.00$, and a Al Madinah-class Guided Missile Frigate for the price of 100,000,000.00$.

This will all add up to a price of 785,000,000.00$ which would save the Iranian navy a total of 195,000,000.00$ were they to purchase this equipment from our storefront. If you also wish, Iran could pay for this equipment in two payments of 392,500,000.00$.

This should be able to kickstart the Iranian navy quite easily."

We happily accept your offer for this equipment, plus we would like to take you up on the two payment option as it will help us immensely. We hope in the future we can repay you in some way for this gesture. As we speak we are beginning to begin the process of transferring the first payment to your accounts. I am very glad that our two nations are beginning strong diplomacy and trade."

 

[Ellie]

"I'm happy to hear that Iran has accepted our proposal, please worry not about any repayment until Iran is able to to do. The funds were received and construction will begin shortly and Iran will receive the equipment whenever they are finished. Now, back to resource trading, would Iran be interested in receiving any of our exports?"

[Curristan]

"Again thank you for your generosity. I feel that Iran would like to purchase some of your iron, steel and pharmaceuticals. This will definitely benefit us as we need building materials and our fledgeling health service needs medicines. We are willing to pay any price for these resources."

 

[Ellie]

"Wonderful, we'll be able to ship the exports to the Port of Bushehr. As for France's imports, a bi-weekly import would suit us, would a bi-weekly export of French goods be suitable for Iran as well? "

@Curristan

 

[Curristan]

"Yes, that would definitely suit us. We would keep it that way so every alternate week is how import and export shipments are delivered between our nations."

 

[Ellie]

"Wonderful, that suits us well. Trade will begin the moment this call is over. Is there anything else Iran would like to discuss with France?"

@Curristan

 

[Curristan]

"Not for this moment but we will definitely be in touch if we think of anything. Appreciate this call very much, thanks again."

 

[Ellie]

"It's no problem at all," he said, "I am happy that we were able to help."

The call would end.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Azar Sharif would put a call to the French through an encrypted phone line so they could ask further questions. It was very good that both nation's had this resource at their disposal.

 

[Ellie]

Minister Le Drian would answer the phone on an encrypted line.

"Hello my friend, thanks for replying I hope things are going well. Would just like to ask whether we can purchase production licences for the equipment that we have purchased from you."

 

[Ellie]

"Good day, sir. I apologize for the long wait. The production licenses for the equipment sold to you would come to a total of 600,000,000.00$"

"It is no problem at all! We are definitely willing to pay that amount, which is a very kind price. Thank you very much for allowing us to do this."
