The Ban of Storhet Auktioner

by Amélie Emanuelle on 30th of April 2013

No more than a few days ago, Storhet Autioner and Minister Florence Parly held a conversation revolving military equipment for sale. But this conversation would not end with France purchasing any military equipment from the Swedish company and instead would end with the business allegedly insulting the French government and proving to be a shady company not worthy of business.

After the conversation, Minister Florence Parly would take to Twitter and tweet: ''Just got off the phone with @storhetauktioner. As a company that advertises itself as maintaining ethically sound framework and accusing FCI of a #coverup, I expected much better. More info and investigation to come on their shady practices and behavior but for now, I advise steering clear of them.'' From this tweet, it would appear that Storhet Auktioner did not prove to be what they advertised and by Minister Parly calling stating their 'shady practices and behavior,' we can assume that Storhet lacks assurance for their customers and have the objective of profit over satisfaction and morality. Storhet Auktioner would Tweet a day later: ''Having spoken to the @florenceparly regarding a future deal it became very clear that the French government's goal is to create international tension, it’s a shame to see an attempt at media manipulation - Storhet Auktioner will not aid political disputes in any form!'' This Tweet is quite contradictory to what Storhet Auktioner has said and done in the past, after all, they have also tried to use media to manipulate, their tweet regarding their factless vendetta against First Choice International proves this: ''Still awaiting a response from First Choice International regarding legal challenge... Wondering if this is the #coverup we were expecting...?'' Many would believe that this is indeed shady, as Florence Parly's tweet was used to warn other nations of Storhet and their profit-over-morality belief and Storhet's tweets were used to spread negative beliefs of both the French government and First Choice International.

However, it was not until today that the French Government would take steps against Storhet Auktioner by banning any and all of their dealings in France along with promising that Storhet Auktioner would never get their hands on French military equipment again. Minister Mohamed Ahmed, Dr. spoke on the government's decision: ''France take's a strong stance against any and all who places profit over morality, legality, and satisfaction of their customers and their dealings. Storhet Auktioner has proved to France that they are a dishonorable company that leaves no paper trails of its purchases and when questioned, insult their customers and tries to shift the blame upon them. Storhet Auktioner will be investigated to the fullest extent of the law, but all we can do for now is ban Storhet from ever doing business in France or its overseas territories and warn other nations across the world to avoid dealings with this business.''

With that, Storhet Auktioner was banned from France and it seems that it will remain that way for the far seeable future and it would seem that it's for the best for France. The French government has also stated they wish that other nations across the world will take steps to do the same.
