It is with joy that I recieve your message, and wish continued prosperity for the people of France. We have maintained a strong bilateral relationship with France in the past and we see no reason why this strong relationship cannot continue. Currently the Nigerian Army uses several pieces of French equipment.

The maintenence of this equipment is of the highest priority of our government given the current active insurgency within Nigeria by Boko Haram terrorists. We would be very interested in purchasing the maintenence licensing for all of the French equipment we currently operate.

Further we would be most interested in cooperating in the areas of culture and trade and we believe such agreements could certainly be signed between our two people.

-Viola

Greetings Minister Viola,

Thank you for the message. It is my pleasure to help our Nigerian friend. I agree that we must continue our friendship with the Nigeria and it's people. We would like to give support to our Nigerian partners to fight against Boko Haram insurgents. To do this, Nigerian Army requires existing maintenance license to maintain the French Equipment. Maintaining French equipment is very costly. So, in order to award you maintenance license, please transfer sum of $3,000,000,000 billion dollars to French Republic account. Thus, we will transfer you maintenance license. The condition for these maintenance licensure is when it is time for decommissioning, you can not scrap them. Nigeria needs to sell this equipment back to French Republic. Another condition is Nigeria cannot sell these equipments with maintenance license to third nation, because it violates the maintenance license. If you are agree above these conditions, please transfer the money to French Republic.

Also, as for cultural and trade, what do you have in mind? We are happy to help in these areas as well.

Sincerely,

Édouard Philippe
Prime Minister of French Republic

With due respect, that fee is rather high, as we could likely sell off the vehicles and replace them for much less than a three billion dollar loss, and it is to your advantage that we continue using your vehicles, and not sell them off to the highest bidder, which we certainly can do.

We would propose the following agreement:

-Nigeria agrees to continue using the VAB as its primary APC, the TRF1 as its primary field artillery, and the Leclerc Main Battle Tank as its primary ace tank
-Nigeria will pay 750,000,000.00 to France
-France will transfer the licensing of all products in use by Nigeria to Nigeria
-Nigeria agrees not to sell the vehicles to a third party or scrap the vehicles

Greetings Minister Viola,

Understood. Definitely feel free to transfer the money to French Republic. Also, we would like to sign free trade agreement between Nigeria and French Republic. This is way that we can trade various products that our nations like import and export. We can offer vehicles, pharmaceuticals, plastics, machinary products to Nigeria. I know you also wanted to discuss about cultural exchange between Nigeria and French Republic. What do you have in mind?

Sincerely,

Édouard Philippe

We are grateful that you can understand our position and we will ensure that we pay back your trust. We have long had a friendship with your people and we believe that this must continue under your leadership. As such we will seek to provide you support if we can. I will have the treasury transfer the funds immediately.

We would be most interested in a trade agreement and can offer Rubbers, plastics, oil, natural gas, and tobacco. As for a cultural exchange we believe that eliminating the need for tourism and student visas and allowing free travel for such purposes to be a good start for such an agreement.
