The day after the attacks, and hours after the Empress' statement, the Press Hall in Versailles would be ready for quite possibly one of the most important press conferences it had ever hosted. While the list of spokespersons was already significant, an additional one from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs had even joined the list. The press conference was open to French and foreign press, and with the range of topics mentioned by the Empress the subsequent list of topics that could be raised by the press was equally large.

From the French government in attendance in the end would be Christelle Renault (Press Secretary of the Palace of Versailles and thus the Empress and her Imperial Administration), Denise Oliver (Press Secretary of the Hexagone Ballard and thus the Ministry of the Armed Forces), Oriane Rousseau (Spokesperson for the Minister of the Interior), and Valetin Joubert (Spokesperson for the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs).

Representing the most senior of the institutions assembled the brunette Christelle would first address the Press.

"Gentle persons, thank you for coming to this press conference. As you are now all aware the Empire of France has been attacked with tens of thousands of confirmed fatalities and additionally thousands wounded. Last night as the scale of the attacks became clear Her Imperial Majesty declared a state of emergency. This state of emergency remains in effect for the entirety of Metropolitan France. The Director General of the National Police has asked me to announce that through a joint investigation by the security and intelligence services one hundred and fifty arrests have been made so far. He expects many more arrests to follow as the investigation continues. For the next 30 days the rule to bring a suspect before a Court within 48 hours following arrest have been suspended in line with the emergency declaration. Additional temporary emergency law enforcement powers are being considered and may be implemented if the security and safety of the French people so require.

As the events themselves and Her Imperial Majesty's are likely to raise many questions we have assembled as much expertise here today as possible. In addition to myself we have Denise Oliver, who you may also know as the Press Secretary of the Hexagone Ballard, Oriana Rousseau who is a spokesperson for the Minister of the Interior, and Valentin Joubert who is a spokesperson for the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs. I ask that you mention the relevant individuals prior to asking your questions.

The floor is now open"

Christelle would take a step back to let the reporters present the opportunity to begin asking their questions.

The Thai journalist, representing the Bangkok Post Europe Division, stood up amidst the bustling atmosphere of the press conference. With an air of determination and the urgency of the situation palpable in her voice, she caught the attention of the room. "Excuse me," she began confidently, ensuring her presence was acknowledged in the sea of media representatives. "I have several critical questions to ask, considering the magnitude of the recent attack, the ongoing diplomatic tensions across Europe, and, most importantly, the involvement and impact on Thai citizens and other nationals." Her tone was earnest, reflecting the gravity of the situation and the need for clarity and answers in these tumultuous times.

The journalist's questions cut through the charged atmosphere of the press conference with precision and urgency. "Given the recent tragedy, how does the French Government plan to address its responsibility in this security breach? Particularly in a context where heightened security should have been a priority," she queried, her tone reflecting both concern and a demand for accountability.

Her next question delved deeper into the ramifications of the incident. "In light of the reported loss of Thai citizens, how will France respond to the grief and concerns of international communities, especially considering the economic ties with Thailand? What steps will your government take to restore confidence in business and diplomatic relations?"

Finally, she addressed the broader implications. "Does this incident, coupled with the ongoing diplomatic tensions with Germany, indicate an urgent need for systemic reforms in France? How will the government assure its citizens and the international community of their safety and the country's stability moving forward?" Her voice, steady and determined, echoed the collective anxiety and the need for a clear, comprehensive response from the French authorities.
