Mister Hnederson,

It has come to our attention that your party was democratically elected into office not but a few days ago. I would like to, firstly, congratulate you on a fair election, and also share German concerns over the matter of what your party represents at large. I would like to open up a discussion on what your party's goals are, what their stance is with certain countries & groups, and what your plans for the state are.

Sincerely,
Karsten Jürke

Dear Jürke,

I, along with my party, would like to thank you for the congratulations towards our victory. It was a difficult task, but the way forward for Canada has finally been opened.

The concern towards my party and their goals are understandable, the word 'nationalist' has received a lot of false criticism as of late. I would like to assure you that the Brotherhood's goals are no more than to benefit Canada and her people. While our focus will now be on Canadian ancestry (anglophone and francophone) that does not mean that we will prevent immigrants or visitors from practicing their culture, religions, and holidays within our borders - as long as the culture, religions, and holidays of Canada are respected.

As for our foreign policy, we are currently undergoing a long and deep debate on how to prevent future harm to Canada. However, while we try to prevent harm from coming to Canada and her people, no human rights will be violated.

As for countries and groups, we are more than open to create friendships with those abroad. Whether it simply be diplomatic or economic. While I have spoke of building up a Canadian military, it will be nothing more than for defensive measures.

If you have any other concerns or questions, by all means, do not be afraid to speak you mind.

Best regards,
Jacob Henderson
Prime Minister of Canada
Head of the Canadian Brotherhood

Mister Henderson,

While such words can be inferred as being truthful, history has proven that people with similar mindsets to yours may lie to get what they want; it is nothing personal. Germany has known the pain and suffering that comes with a leader who has a way with words, and we have no intention of reliving that memory any longer. First question; what are your views on the Middle East & East Asia? How tolerant are you of the Muslim community, and how tolerant is your party to immigration?

Sincerely,
Karsten Jürke

Dear Jürke,

I would like to remind you that there is a large difference between a nationalist and a fascist.

As for the question at hand; Trade and travel between Canada and the entirety of east Asia will be open. As for the Middle East, the Islamic terrorists that attempted to bring Canada down are currently being investigated. Once their country of origin has been determined, actions will be taken to protect Canada from any future attacks by said country.

For now, the only countries where Canada is currently sanctioning and banning all travel to and from are: Sudan and Somalia. However, these sanctions and travel bans will only last until said countries are once again on stable footing and no longer a threat to Canada and her people.

Surely Germany would not do any different in attempt to protect its people from future harm, would they?

Best Regards,
Jacob Henderson

Mister Henderson,

While you are correct that Germany would not do any different if in the same scenario, it is mainly a precaution. Nationalism can become fascism if left to fester. Regardless, second question: what are your opinions on other political parties within your borders? In particular, Left-leaning parties such as communists or socialists?

Dear, Jürke

There are many political parties in Canada, most of which will not be effected by my party's succession of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Any party which defines itself as 'Libertarian', 'Liberal', 'Socialist', 'Conservative', 'Nationalist', and 'Internationalist' will be safe from lawful percussion. As for the ideologies which are known for dictatorships and mass murders such as 'Communism' and 'Fascism' will be banned, although that will be quite easy, considering my ancestors have already banned any type of Fascist ideology in Canada.

The banning of these two ideologies will have nothing to do with personal strife but simply preventing history from repeating itself.

Best Regards,
Jacob Henderson

Mister Henderson,

I will be honest, and many here in Germany will tell you, that Nazism and Communism being banned as groups does not solve the issue. In fact, it only exasperates a shift in power. What needs to be done is to let these cancers show themselves and allow the people to make their own choices, as unfortunate as it may be. Now, for a final question...what are your own personal ambitions for Canada during your term, both militarily and diplomatically, and will Canada continue to abide by International Law as prescribed to by members of the Global Assembly?

Dear Jürke,

Ideologies of hate such as Communism and Fascism have risen and fallen all across the world, even where they originated from. Through everything that Germany has been through, democracy still rose to victory, Canada will be no different.

As for your final question. Personally, I was elected into power by Canadians for Canadians. That being said, I will do whatever is most beneficial for Canada and Canadians. However, as a member of the Global Assembly, Canada will do whatever it must to follow its laws and principles.

My goals for Canada, for our military is not to have more territory or to be feared. I wish for Canada not to have to depend on other countries for our own protection, mainly the United States, I wish for Canada to be able to defend its own land without fear.

As for diplomacy, it would appear that I have much work to do in calming my neighbors and those in Europe. However, apart from that, friendships would be of the upmost importance. Whether these friends are in America or in the East matters not. Fear not, these friendships will in most part be economic.

My party, the Canadian Brotherhood, is not in power to antagonist anyone around the globe. We are simply here to better the lives of every Canadian and to show those who would desire to do us harm that we will no longer be allowing them to do so.

Best Regards,
Jacob Henderson

Mister Henderson,

While your intentions seem right and just by a moral standpoint, it is still the belief of the President that the Canadian Brotherhood still may pose a threat. That being stated, our Consulate–General offices & our Embassy in Ottawa shall be kept on a high-alert status for the next 2 months as we observe the goings-on of your country. It is my hope that you understand why we are doing this in the name of potentially preserving democracy. The notion of nationalism is terrifying to many, and provides opportunity for restlessness.
