The Government and Leaders of the Gandhi Empire
The Gandhi Empire is ruled by the most direct, oldest-born in India, decendent of The Great Muhtma Gandhi. The current Emperor of India is the Great Rajmohan Gandhi, referred to as Emperor Rajmohan I.
The Indian people vote experienced public servants to the position of Department Head, and is allocated a budget by the Finance Department, which works with the Emperor to determine India's needs. Those who wish to become Department Head must have relevant experience in that Department for at least a decade, and must be accepted as a candidate by the Emperor, or be nominated as a candidate by a current Department Head. After that, they must receive a vote of at least 30% (or the majority) by the Indian people to be elected to the position. New candidates and nominees are proposed every 5 years; there is a term limit of 12 years.
The Emperor's Office is a Department that serves the needs of the Emperor. It overseas the Atomic Energy Commission, several anti-corruption and governmental preservation organisations and the Indian Space Agency.
