The following changes have been put into place for the British Armed Forces:
- 802 Naval Air Squadron has been relocated to the new Lightning Facility at RAF Marham. All 40 F-35s will be utilising RAF Marham with the Tornado Aircraft from the Royal Air Force as their home base. This releasing much needed room at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton for the Helicopter force.
- 700 Naval Air Squadron has entered operational service as the first full wildcat helicopter squadron, and has been relocated to RNAS Yeovilton along with Lynx Helicopter Squadron, 702 NAS, which will be converting to the Wildcat throughout August.
- Three new Type 26 Frigates have entered service with the Royal Navy, another three expected to begin construction in September.
- The unassigned British Army Peace Support Teams, consisting of 5 (with a total of 2,500 personnel between them) have successfully been disbanded. This marks a new step forward due to their lack of involvement in operations, will go onto serving other aspects of the Army. Only the Support Team for Cyprus remains.
