[Hungary] Notice to all Embassies and Consulates

Dear Foreign Ministers,

After careful thought, the Hungarian Government has decided to give notice of eviction to all foreign embassies and consulates within Hungary; and withdrawal of all Hungarian embassies and consulates abroad.

This decision has come as the Hungarian government wish to renegotiate the agreements of diplomatic missions within Hungary and abroad, in order to clarify the legal status and diplomatic relations of these embassies and consulates. This would improve the function and protection of these diplomatic missions, guaranteeing greater safety and security of citizens abroad and greater interaction between respective governments and institutions.

This eviction/withdrawal comes with a six month notice, to which foreign government are recommended to contact the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and renegotiate. All new agreements will be made in the confines of international and domestic law. Failure to do so once this time period is over, diplomatic mission would be forcibly removed.

Although that Canada believes this is wrong, Hungarian Embassy within Canada would be evicted and escorted to the nearest Airport where they have to make their own way back. The Canadian embassy within Hungary would shredded and destroy any and everything within the building before leaving to the airport where prepaid tickets would be waiting for them to return to Canada

After reading this message Japan has decided to immediately order the ambassador in Hungary to burn all encrypted files, erase all the drives and to leave Hungary asap. The Hungarian Embassy in Tokyo would be evicted and escorted to a private Airport where they head back to Hungary. All the files, and electronic devices in the Embassy would be confiscated by the Tokyo police. Japan has also decided to break all contacts and relationships between the two nations.

In Germany and Hungary, any consulates and embassies owned by either Hungary or Germany would be shut down after the announcement. Any and all sensitive documentation or files were burned or erased after the closure, and German diplomats returned home within the week. The German Chancellor commented on the closure of the Hungarian Embassy, stating,
"This comes as a surprise to the German government...why would Hungary ask for the closure of its embassies? I, for one, think that there is something more serious afoot in Hungarian boundaries, and believe that whatever it is has interfered with their ability to reasonably act in diplomacy with other nations. But, I could be wrong, and what the Hungarian government has said could be true. Time will tell."

The Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina would removed its embassy personel and call them back to Sarajevo. Moves will be made to discuss future relations with Hungary in the mean time Hungarian diplomats are more than welcome to stay in Bosnia.

All diplomatic staff in Hungary was recalled to Norway on a three-week timeframe. Seeing as there were no sensitive documents at the embassy, except for personal information of citizens visiting Hungary, the files would be physically moved in filing cabinets back to Norway. All computers and equipment in the embassy and consulates would also be brought back to Norway. Since there was no longer any Norwegian diplomatic outposts in Hungary, a travel advisory was placed on the country, noting the situation. All of this was done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a quiet way, as to not draw much domestic or international attention.

The Foreign Ministry begrudgingly recalled all Russian diplomatic staff in Hungary. The buildings owned by the Russian government would be stripped bare before they left ensuring nothing of value could be left for Hungarian intelligence to scavenge. Moscow made no comment on the matter.

Argentina would recall Its diplomatic and non-diplomatic embassy staff from Budapest back to Buenos Aires. Private documents would be destroyed or taken back. Considering the embassy building is property of the State of Argentina, it would be closed down and locked, to avoid usurpers.
