With Kobos' mishap on the track in their first ever Grand Prix, Leopard-Tarpan decided something must be done to improve their chances to place in the next match, and win the overall cup. The super cars were brought immediately to the team garage to begin their work. After closely examining the car and the race, the mechanics set to work. First they pulled the carbon fiber body and began modifying it to allow for more maneuverability. Adding small winglets, barge boards, and turning vanes to the body, hopefully increasing the downforce attributed to the vehicle which should increase it's maneuverability around turns. While engineers and the pit crew were going over the fiber glass body, the engineers set to work reworking the engine to help it generate more speed. The engine was closely examined for any defects, wear and tear, or simple maintenance issues that would need sorting. The entire ignition system was quickly reworked with new parts that would hopefully allow for the car to obtain higher RPM and thus achieving greater speeds.
On the track, the duo tested their freshly modified vehicles. They zoomed through the track at speeds they had seen from other drivers at the Montreal Grand Prix, seemingly faster than their own. The new winglets, boards, and vanes allowed the vehicles to have greater maneuverability on their test track. They were ecstatic. This was hopefully their chance to change things up in the American Grand Prix. Hopefully taking a top ten place in the race.
