Conservatives, Nationalists, and Unionists purpose immigration bill in Parliament.

this evening before the house of commons in Dublin the conservative, nationalist, and unionist parties purposed a multifaceted bill on the matter of immigration which would provide for Ireland a sense of unity and uniformity in a ever changing world. The bill calls for the following:

- The Introduction of a quota system designed to limit the flux of immigrants from third world countries

- The Enactment of certain restrictions purtainaning to the provision of welfare to those immigrants with whom employment is non existent and in some cases the rigid enforcement of harsh penalties for the abuse of welfare.

- The Preferable treatment of those applicants deemed to of sound body and mind as well as work ethic who are able to support themselves upon arrival without becoming public charges.

- The Acceptance of those applicants who have Irish ancestry or are married to a spouse born in either The Kingdom of Ireland or Northern Ireland provided they be employed and avoid becoming public charges.

The purposed bill in question has aroused the vehement opposition of the governing liberal party and from the social democratic oriented labour party. the bill shall be voted upon within the next week or so.

Irish National Day, December 6th

This evening Prime Minister McGuinness conducted his first speech on national television wishing the Irish people a happy Independence day and asking for reconciliation between all Irish North and South.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I come before you this evening to commemorate 91 years of independence. Much has changed since we became independent in 1921 and much has yet to change. Our nation is marching to the beat of its own drum being righteously free to determine her future on terms acceptable to all her children. We seek to remain neutral and if need be will guard our sacred independence with our lives if need be. This is no secret. But alas let us be at peace with every nation and set an example so that we like Israel might be a light unto the nations."

The short address was well received by the political left and right but looked upon with dubious suspision by his fellow unionists. Such is the tempo of this uniquely Irish affair.

Parliament votes against the deployment of troops to fight Terrorism

This morning, The House of Parliament voted against purposals that if passed would result in the deployment of Irish troops overseas under the guise of evacuating Irish citizens stranded in hostile territory. Opposition comprised of Sein Fein and Labour, released a statement which was sent to Prime Minister McGuinness which essentially condemned the conduct of the administration in regards to potential involvement in a foreign war as this would nullify Ireland's neutrality.

Shelves in Irish supermarkets and shops dwindle to record lows

surprise, surprise.... it was for many Irishmen and women who attempted to stock up on basic necessities as the winter weather continues to hamper their daily lives to discover the once unlikely sight of barren shelves. apart from a few loaves of bread and perhaps a few cans of meat, there is little to be seen. to make matter worse prices have jumped to an all time high in order to combat the scarcity of food available. it is not yet know if Parliament will call attention to this critical issue facing the Irish people.

Bill in Parliament regarding potential recognition of Taiwan as the legitimate government of China purposed by Fine Gael

this afternoon in The House of Commons, Fine Gael MP from Wicklow, Roger Flanagan purposed a Bill designed to grant recognition and establish diplomatic ties with The Republic of Taiwan as the 'sole legitimate and thus acting' government of China. The Bill was supported by members of his own party, the Democratic Unionists, and Labour. Sein Fein has condemned such bill as a gesture of gratitude to what was described by the party leadership as "China's undying friendship and solidarity with The Irish people in the fight against British authority in Ulster." If the bill passes Taiwan will be allowed to take over the Chinese embassy currently due to the non existence of diplomatic ties with its Communist counterparts from the Mainland.

St Patrick's Day 2013

This morning, the people of Èire commemorated the feast day of their patron saint Patrick (Padráig) by attending religious services and small scale celebrations such as parades and fairs across the country.

At 9:00, Prime Minister McGuinness took the salute from An Garda Síochána and The National Army, before receiving the honour of hoisting the cross of Saint Patrick in the place of the recently revived tricolour.

At 12:00 or High Noon, McGuinness and his advisors went for high tea not far away from The GPO where the martyrs of 1916 made their stand on behalf of Èire.

At 3:30, McGuinness proceeded to carry on the time honoured tradition of handing Shamrocks to Irish troops much to the cheer of many patriots.

Sein Fein boycotted the ceremonies due to the Protestant friendly nature of its contents.

This morning in Galway, members of Èire's various anarchist schools of thought ranging from Anarcho-Communists to Individualist Anarchists came together as one to announce the formation of a revolutionary council with the intention of establishing a free territory and preparing to resist martial law.

At the same time as the council's formation, The Revolutionary Free People's Army of Èire came into existence with a collection of 2,500 men most of which are equipped with small arms. So far the government has not responded to this development.

The government of the German Reich looked on in wonder and curiosity on the matter. As Ireland was starting to look more anarchist, the Reich Chancellor would secretly and privately order the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare for a rapid closure of the Embassy in Ireland. For now, however, the government advised caution to German Nationals visiting Ireland, and to report any suspicious activity to Irish government officials if they could, or shorten their stay if needed.

Anarchy in Èire, The Saga continues

This afternoon, the first wave of syndicalist privatisation was implemented by the working class in an attempt to seize the means of production and control their own destinies without the contraints of statism or capital. Almost all of the factories of Galway and the surrounding are now under workers control.

In Cork and Dublin, Anarchists have begun to arm themselves as the government takes steps to impose martial law on the general public. Many police officers and militiamen have left their respective posts and have joined local cadres while factory workers and contruction crews came together to create barricades.

With martial law being signed into law, The Irish constitution and the rights accorded to all in its provisions has been suspended until further notice. The Army has been ordered by an executive order to take measures designed to disarm subversive elements while The Special Operations Corp of the national police force has been tasked with the disposal of individuals deemed a threat to Èire's existence.

Here...the battle begins.

Food Distribution turns into bloody massacre

this evening, crowds of cold and hungry Dubliners gathered at the food allocation center in downtown Dublin to receive a bowl of soup and a piece of bread as part of their weekly ration only to discover that the expected food had failed to arrive at its destination due to the nature of the weather. Within roughly 25 minutes the scene became an ugly one as angry citizens began to harass the security detail seconds later shots rang out and so it was that 15 were killed and 2 wounded. Who fired no one really knows.
