J-31 Price Request, continued

Hey,

So the last time I requested a price for the J-31 it was rejected because the plane is not in service yet, I could see that at the time. However since then I have noticed that the UK was allowed to build the Type 26 Global Combat Ship. Per the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_26_frigate#Ships_of_the_class the first ship in this class has not even been completed yet and it only expected to enter service in the mid-2020s. The Shenyang J-31 meanwhile per the wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shenyang_J-31 is entering service this year or the next, has been flight tested in 2012 and currently has two operational aircraft. Perhaps a more appropriate comparison is the F-35C for the United Kingdom as well. Per its article the F-35C is currently not in active service https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_F-35_Lightning_II and it will not be until 2020, this places it at the same developmental stage as the J-31.

Hi @Centurius

Thank you for the support ticket however stated within the previous ticket, the J-31 is still in development phase and as part of the MN rules, anything still in development needs to be researched and developed. The Type 26 has passed development phase within real life and has begun construction so this is completely different and was out into service on MN before the rule change.
