Your Excellency,

First of all, I wish to congratulate you on your recent electoral success. As someone who had to defy a patriarchal system full of ancient establishment parties myself, I appreciate the true feat it is to reach this level.

While Japan and Israel have historically maintained limited relations, I would like to see this change in our respective new eras. Japan and Israel share a love for peace, freedom, technology and standing one's own. On a personal level I can say I have always been an admirer of Israel as a nation and the Jewish people a a whole. Almost always surrounded by enemies and institutions who at best wanted to keep you down and at most murder you but still come out ahead.

To establish formal relations I would like to request your permission for a formal state visit in February. I already have plans to visit Europe then and stopping in the Middle East before that could easily be fit in. In preparation for such a state visit and to establish the basis of future Israeli-Japanese relations I also would like to propose a meeting between our Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Director-General of the Middle Eastern and North African Affairs Bureau at a location in Israel or Japan of your choosing.

Madam President,

Thank you for your well wishes, the State of Israel truly appreciates the sentiment. Because President Weiss is currently preoccupied with another matter she has asked me to respond to your message.

The State of Israel would gladly host you and whomever else you may wish to bring within your delegation to Jerusalem. While it is true that historically Japan has often been more inclined to cooperate with our neighbours than ourselves and we are quite literally on opposite sides of our shared continent, we would welcome a Japanese policy shift towards Jerusalem and see many avenues for cooperation.

We will also gladly prepare these topics with your representative prior to the official state visit. As such I hereby extend an invitation for your representative to meet with myself in Jerusalem, and on behalf of President Weiss I wish to formally invite you to a state visit in February.
