From: Minister Gerald Bull

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am uncertain who it is I am speaking to due to your message not being signed, however, I will assume that this message comes from the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark.

I am happy to hear that you are interested in the Louis S. St. Laurent-class icebreaker, it is a marvelous ship and without a doubt will serve you more than well for any operations and tasks that you give it. We are more than content to begin manufacturing of the ship (which will be loaded with the listed boats and landing crafts) and delivery to the Kingdom of Denmark the moment the funds are transferred to Canada. However, as we do not have the rights to the carried helicopter listed in the tender, the Kingdom of Denmark will need to acquire helicopters for it from elsewhere.

Please transfer the funds as soon as you are able and send us the receiving port.

Kindest Regards,
Gerald Bull
Minister of National Defence
Canada
