Your Excellency,

On behalf of Naval Group and Dassault Aviation I wish to hereby formally submit an offer for the open tender to provide the Imperial Korean Navy with a stable and powerful means to project air power. Due to the complexity of the offer and possible choices, I am attaching this additional letter to make sure your esteemed military may make a decision with all important variables accounted for.
The core of our offer is the Charles de Gaulle Class Aircraft Carrier, the same type that also forms the backbone of the Imperial French Navy's air power. The Charles de Gaulle Class is a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier displacing around 45,000 tons. Due to its use of CATOBAR flgith operations, it is one of only three classes of aircraft carrier in the world capable of operating full-sized aircraft such as the French-built Dassault Rafale or the American F-18. With space for 40 fighters as well as AEW&C aircraft, helicopters and UAVs any Navy equipped with this type of vessel can maintain fully independent air superiority, closed air and any other fighter-based air operation in highly contested airspace. Furthermore, due to the deep integration of French arms development with western design philosophies it should readily integrate with your existing naval platforms.

Should you wish to see the class in operation, the Ministry of the Armed Forces has expressed its willingness to allow Korean naval officers to visit the Jeanne d'Arc, which is currently underway to the South Pacific. This will allow you to see the ship while actively engaged in combat operations and as part of a larger Carrier Strike Group.

While there is no requirement to use French fighter designs with a French aircraft carrier, the Rafale does have the deepest integration with the Charles de Gaulle Class. The Ministry of the Armed Forces and Dassault Aviation have also cleared the Korean Empire for the purchase of the newest variant of the Dassault Rafale M, the naval version of the proven air superiority platform. This newest generation comes with an AESA radar, support for SCALP EG/Storm Shadow missiles, and a beyond state of the art electronic warfare system (Thales SPECTRA).
While a single carrier would cost $4,551,550,000.00, we may be able to provide discounts for larger orders.

Yours sincerely,
Pierre-Eric Pommellet, Naval Group Chairman and CEO
