Greetings.

Following our King's near visit to your country, there's been a developed interest in acquiring Ukrainian military equipment for the country's armed forces. It is also our King's intention to show our interest in keeping relations between our countries as warm as possible until he can personally visit Ukraine. That being said, while we are aware of what equipment we'd potentially wish to purchase, we are not sure what exactly is for sell. Lion Defene in intersted in acquiring an order of Main Battle Tanks, and potentially Helicopters of various functions as well.

Esteemed Greetings, Ah yes, I believe that the state visit of Germany prevented a state visit by your king but perhaps our Premiere or Foreign Minister could make a visit to Singapore, I hear it's quite gorgeous this time of year if a bit hot. As for your request, Ukraine has some of the best machines in the world and our local industry is among the best of the former Soviet Union and we've been working to modernize it in a leapfrog effect. We can offer the T-84 Oplot-M for any of the many variants of T-64 that we've been modernizing to fit with modern requirements. For helicopters we have the Mi-8MSB which is a more powerful version of the Mi-8 from the USSR and arguably better than any helicopter of its class currently with an air ceiling of 9,000+ meters and capacity for dozens of troops. We also offer the Mi-24PU-1 helicopter which is an all-weather and night capable gunship platform with upgraded engines that allow it to lift even more than the iconic Soviet workhorse. The T-84 Oplot-M is just over 4 million USD while the Mi-8MSB is approx 8 million USD and the Mi-24PU-1 is 12 million. Of course it would include tax and other fees, so your price would be about 20-25% higher, let me know if you wish for anything else, Ukraine is open to more international partnership. Thank you for the quick response, we're glad to hear that the there's a mutual interest between our two respective nations. While I do technically hold clearance to authorize a state visit from foreign officials, there are unfortunately no officials available who can properly escort such high level officials from your government. It's unfortunate, but we hope to remain in contact until then. Purchasing arms aside, Lion Defense Industries collaborates directly with our Kingdom's Royal Institute of Technology to keep our Kingdom on the cutting edge of technology in Asia. Our King has even secured international funding for our research ventures, of which we plan on the creation of our own indigenous fighter program in the near future. We're rather lacking in the sector of avionics, unfortunately.

But back to the subject of equipment, the Kingdom of Singapore currently fields Leopard 2A6's as well as the AMX LeClerc for its main battle tanks. Our armed forces would like to phase out the LeClerc for a more suitable tank, preferably something which is able to survive engagements that may occur beneath the average max range. Would you recommend the Oplot-M for this role? Or are there any other MBT's that you think would be suitable?

Mrs. Vivain Lai, I do not have much authority to organize meetings either, but I can relay such information to the Presidium. I do definitely believe it is in the interests of our government to deepen ties with Asia and such an opportunity as this is welcome indeed. For tanks capable of surviving close engagements, the T-84 Oplot-M is unsurpassed, Duplet ERA reduces the effectiveness of APFSDS by some 55% and HEAT by a similar margin as well as being fully capable of defeating tandem warheads and multi-penetrator APFSDS rounds. It also has an active protection suite and dazzlers for enemy laser locks along with other such systems. The base armour is unrivalled even by current Russian tanks though the BM Bulat is a more cost effective option, it is an upgraded T-64 but don't be fooled by the 60+ year old tank chassis. The BM Bulat has armour on par with the T-72B (Obr. 1989) and ERA protection surpassing Kontakt-5 using Nozh along with advanced fire control and a CITV system. The BM Bulat is around 500,000 dollars + surcharges and the Oplot-M is just over 4 million dollars + surcharges. Both are absolutely suitable to close range combat and can effectively engage enemy targets at normal combat ranges with devastating effect, I'd be so blunt as to say the Oplot-M surpasses the Leopard 2A6 in all categories. I see...the T-84 Oblot-M is definitely enticing, although i'm just as pleased to hear about a more cost-effective option, without the severe dip in quality expected from a price that low. I believe we can come to an agreement, although I would like to offer another thrilling proposition that you might not wish to refuse!

While we are certainly interested in acquiring the myriad of tanks and helicopters that you're offering, we are more interested in acquiring domestic production to fill the void where Lion Defense can not.

In specific, we would like to acquire licenses to domestically produce both the Mi-8MSB as well as the Mi-24PU-1 to start.

In return we are willing to offer you domestic production of a certain system we've been keeping under the wraps here at Lion Defense for quite some time. You'll find the details in the attachment at the bottom of this email. Currently there is only one other nation on the globe who we're considering providing this equipment to, and I would personally like for the Ukranian armed forces to be the second. As the President of Lion Defense, I am confident in saying that the system has the ability to rival the comparable technology being developed elsewhere in Russia or the States.

Now I'll be transparent in letting you know that whilst completed, we have not decided to release the program for mass production as of yet. I don't expect it to be much longer until we begin production, though. You'll find a bit more information regarding the system attached as well below, and we'd like to hear your thoughts on what we're offering.

And lastly we are interested in acquiring the domestic production license for the T-64BM Bulat. In return we are willing to offer a license of your choice from our storefront catalog, which is listed below as well.

Mrs. Vivain Lai, Your ARIELE system certainly is quite enticing as Ukraine lacks an equivalent to comparable systems in development. I also seem to have been mistaken on my earlier estimate of Duplet, it is in fact Nozh ERA, which is used on the T-64BM Bulat that has ~55% reduction to effectiveness of HEAT and APFSDS. In fact Duplet has something on the order of 70-80% reduction in effectiveness of HEAT and APFSDS with a multi-layered web of ERA modules within each brick. If you weren't already sold on it, I honestly don't know what else will sell it. I believe it is acceptable for my government to accept you license producing Mi-8MSB and Mi-24PU-1 domestically in exchange for not only domestic production of ARIELE but also full permission and ability to modify and potentially further develop the system with our own equipment and technology. We will of course fully disclose such advancements to LDI and even share them with your government so long as no compromises to other state actors are made with the information. For the T-64BM Bulat tank, we can agree to full domestic licensing in Singapore, it is a fine tank and will make a good addition to your forces, in exchange we would ask for a 50% ownership of the Ultimax 100. I believe 50% ownership of the Ultimax 100 is an acceptable offer in exchange for the license to the T-64BM Bulat. I'm also glad to have come to an agreement in regards to the trading of licenses for our ARIELLE system. I hope this opportunity is the beginning of something greater in regards to technological cooperation between both our countries respective industries.

We're most interested in acquiring Ukranian assistance in helping our nation's avionics industry finally get jumpstarted off the ground. For that matter, our Naval Air Arm are in possession of 80 Dassault Rafale M's that were domestically produced under the license of the previous French Republic. I'm rather certain we can arrange for at least one or two of these models to be transferred to your government in exchange for such help.

Moreover it would seem that tensions are possible with the new Russian administration and we would ask that you produce 4 batches of 1,000 T-64BM Bulat tanks for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence. For this contract we will gladly pay you 30,000,000 USD on top of the production costs at 470,000,000 per batch.
