Government of Turkey
Turkey is currently looking for Long range Ballistic missiles and will consider all offers. Turkey is willing to pay the full price for equipment and does not care what the National Origin of the Equipment is. The Missile must be: Under $50,000,000 Per Unit, have a range of 400 Miles(~643Km) and able to be shipped via a moderate sized naval vessel or if possible brought to Turkey on Train/Aircraft. This offer is public and after all offers(which can be brief and include just the basic statistics) are deemed to be presented Turkey will decide the best option. $20,000,000 USD will be offered to the Nation that creates the sale in addition the purchase price. Turkey will also accept LPL offers if presented at a reasonable rate. The Launcher is the J600T Yildrim I for additional reference And basic non technical specifications can be read Here. A launcher different from the J600 can also be included and is permitted to be able to fire from another Missile Platform.

I hope this email finds you well. The Republic of Korea would like to offer the Hyunmoo-2A Medium Range Ballistic Missile platform as a contender on the tender. The Hyunmoo-2A reaches the conditions listed of being below $50 million, however it has lower range at 500km. It can being transported via naval vessel after final assembly. We do not sell the Hyunmoo-2A to foreign governments and transfer of all ballistic missile systems requires approval of the Korean Government.

As a previous customer of the Hyunmoo-1 and a close partner of Korea, the Administration may view favorably to our proposal for the Hyunmoo-2A sale to Turkey. The sale would consist of $9 million per missile which includes the launch system. If desired, the Hyunmoo-2A can be delivered through a mobile TEL launcher which would come with an additional cost. With the TEL the Hyunmoo-2A would come to a total price of 9.4 million.

As per the terms and conditions of KDIA, additional terms would be imposed including commitment by Turkey not to re-engineer the Hyunmoo-2A, non-use on civilian infrastructure, and non-sale to any party.

Specific modifications to the Hyunmoo-2A would be made for service in the Turkish Armed Forces. Primarily technical modifications to allow extended range from the 300km range of the 2A to 500km.

Thank you for your response regarding our recent request. While we have interest in your proposal and may be interested in these missiles in the future, they lack a significant amount of range. Turkey would require a Missile with at least 1,000Km(621Mi) in order to have serious interest. If south Korea has a Missile with this range+ Turkey would be significantly more enticed to make an offer but at this time the weapon does not suit our needs. Thank you for your Offer, we look forward to further contact with the KDIA.

The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations (Mossad) would privately note down Turkey's intentions to buy ballistic missiles after their public tender to the international community. It would be passed through various departments within the agency for threat assessment and further evaluation by senior officials within the agency and also the government as a whole.

Dear Department of Defense,

Thank you for the clarifications. With the priority of range, the Republic of Korea would be willing to make specific concessions in order to provide more long-range alternatives. Although not approved for export, the KDIA would propose the exchange of the Hwasong-7 to Turkey on similar conditions for the proposed Hyunmoo-2A MRBM. The Hwasong-7 is an MRBM with a range of 1,000 km and a payload of 1,200 kg.

Such an exchange will require efforts to convince the Korean Government on its sale. The Hwasong-7 is officially decommissioned by the Korean Armed Forces pending evaluation for service, however, a stockpile remains available. Of which we would of course be willing to offer a sizable amount of launchers alongside supply of warheads to the Turkish armed forces.

We would offer the sale of the Hwasong-7 at an export price of $7.2 million per missile alongside the cost of mobile TEL launchers for a total of $7.6 million per warhead & TEL. For your reference for creating an order, each missile would cost $7.2 million while each TEL would cost .4 million.

As per the terms and conditions of KDIA, additional terms would be imposed including commitment by Turkey not to re-engineer the Hwasong-7, non-use on civilian infrastructure, and non-sale to any third party.

Thank you for your swift response, the Ministry has deemed this offer adequate and thanks the Korean Government for this offer. While this is Former DPRK equipment we believe it will be fine for our needs due to the advanced missile program that was built during the North Korean Regime. We will order 85 of these Missiles with the launchers to be delivered in the City of Adana. We ask that this production be top secret as we would like to refrain from alerting our neighbors that this equipment is in Turkish Hands. Of course all Terms will be followed as usual and again we thank the Korean government for this opportunity.

Dear Department of Defense,

Thank you for your response. We are glad to hear that the Hwasong-7 offer has been received positively in Turkey. We will begin our discussions with the Korean Government to approve the sale of the missile technology to the Turkish Government. Through this offer we would be providing an order of 85 Missile Warheads alongside 85 missile launchers. This contract would include the continued maintenance of these systems by Turkish and Korean engineers and the supply in a timely manner of additional missile warheads.

In line with this contract, the KDIA would offer complementary services including the private delivery of these equipment in line with relevant conventions on the transfer of weapons to other states as recognized and ratified by the Republic of Korea. As for pricing, the total initial order would be $646,000,000. The total price for the 85 warheads would be $612,000 and the total price per launcher is $34,000,000.

Dear Minister of Defense,

I hope this email finds you well and in good health. With regards to the proposed export license for 85 conventional Hwasong-7 warheads and their associated launchers, I wish to inform you of the approval of the Blue House of your request through the KDIA. This export was approved on the current assessment of Turkey's high standards for maintenance of equipment and weapons, international obligations on the use of weapons and the laws of wars, and the brotherly relations between Korea and Turkey. This export will be conducted through the Korean Ministry of Defense as opposed to by KDIA. Our Government maintains strict protocols on how Korean weapons may be used in combat under our foreign arms export regulations. In line with the KDIA terms and conditions and additional provisions, Korean rocket technology can not be used to target or in other ways intimidate civilian populations under any circumstance.

With these conditions accepted, the Republic of Korea will begin transfer of existing Hwasong-7 systems to Turkey. Please begin with the transfer of the base price of 646,000,000 alongside the confidential fees of $64,000,000 for a total of $710,000,000. We will continue to act in our continued highest of standards when it comes to providing for our customers and please be assured of this.

Signed,

The Republic of Turkey Apologizes for the mistake, the funds would now be sent. It would be added that the Missiles needed to be completed ASAP as Turkey was currently without any long range Ballistic Missile Defense.

Since the above post was not encrypted, private or classified of any nature, it was privately noted down that Turkey was acquiring ballistic missiles from the Republic of Korea, although the quantity or typewas unknown, it was still requested through encrypted channels between the Kingdom of Sweden, Republic of Korea and State of Israel that the order be postponed or cancelled due to a war that could potentially be imminent between Israel and Turkey.

The intelligence would be passed onto Sweden through encrypted channels with the reasoning that with support being gained from the Swedish Government that they would put pressure on any orders being cancelled and privately requests they contact the Republic of Korea to ensure that the order is cancelled to protect the sovereignty of the State of Israel.

Turkey would immediately contact the Republic of Korea, and notify them of a breach of Security. Knowing that Turkey and Korea have strong bonds, they would be reminded(Unkowing of the Israeli Message) that the Missiles were purely for Self Defense and a Deterrent and not intended to be used As stated previously.

During my first post, it was privately noted down that Turkey was acquiring ballistic missiles, as this was done privately, Turkey would not know about this breach of security.

And the added fact that the post was edited to add on 'Private and Encrypted' past the edit deadline given in the ruleset, this is also invalid.

With the Recent development of the J-600T Yıdrim IV, the Turkish government would message the Korean government that if, due to recent incidences the Missiles could not be delivered due to a hypothetic blockade then Turkey would supplement the short supply with newly developed Supersonic Ballistic Missiles and that there was no need now to urgently send the weapons. Turkey would then actually make an offer to the Korean government for the J-600T IV for $40,000,000 a piece. The Missiles would have a range of 2500km ~1550 mi and could be offered with the J-600T Launcher. The J-600 III Model and earlier would also be offered for half the price.
Each J-600T Yıldırım battery consists of:
  • 1 x Battery Command & Control Vehicle
  • 2 x Firing Team Command and Control Vehicles
  • 6 x F-600T Launcher Vehicles
  • 7 x F-600T Reload - Resupply Vehicles
  • 1 x Maintenance Vehicle
