Your Excellencies, I have the honor to extend the warmest regards on behalf of the Turkish Naval Forces and to convey our continued appreciation for the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between our two nations. In light of the growing strategic importance of maritime security in the Red Sea and the critical need to ensure the uninterrupted and safe flow of global trade through this vital corridor, the People's Republic of Türkiye respectfully proposes the deployment of a Turkish naval task force to conduct coordinated patrols in support of regional stability following the serious incident at your naval port. This task force would consist of two frigates, two corvettes, and one submarine, with the express purpose of contributing to the collective effort to safeguard maritime routes from emerging threats and ensure freedom of navigation for all. Recognizing such a strike could only have been possible by a sophisticated naval power, the People's Republic in the interest of regional independence would like to dispatch a task force to patrol the region. Recognizing Egypt’s pivotal role in the Red Sea and the broader region, we would be honored to have an Egyptian naval vessel participate in this operation. Such cooperation would serve not only as a symbol of solidarity but also as a practical step toward enhancing interoperability and trust between our maritime forces. We further believe that this initiative could serve as a catalyst for stronger military working relations between our two navies, in line with our shared interests and regional responsibilities. Due to ongoing financial constraints, the Turkish side respectfully seeks Egypt’s assistance in identifying a suitable financing partner to support the mission. This would greatly aid in sustaining the operational commitment and ensuring the long-term success of this cooperative maritime effort. We remain confident that this proposal reflects our mutual commitment to peace, security, and prosperity in the region, and we look forward to Egypt’s valued response.
