Кимлик Карты The National ID Card uses biometric data passports. They can be used as a driving licence, a bank card, and bus ticket. The cards are only valid for 10 years. They are in ID-1 (credit card) size, smaller than the previous cards. Cards are bilingual, both in Russian and English. E-signatures can be installed into the card's chip and have a PIN codes for authorization. Under the E-Russia project a digital E-KimKart has been made to allow for citizens to use digital services.
