Prime Minister Frost,

I have received the requests you passed on to me through my trustworthy Ambassador to Norway. Over the recent days the Council of Ministers has been looking over the most serious request with a pragmatic approach. Having reached a decision I thought it would only be appropriate to contact your myself.

It is my government's opinion that the current situation in Belgium in no way justify a military intervention, which is why the Netherlands will not be able to allow the deployment of 25,000 personnel onto our territory to be used with an invasion of Belgium. We cannot support any militaristic policy when a diplomatic approach has not even been attempted.
