Dear Mr Jans,

In many ways I am incredibly glad that you are contacting me in relation to First Choice International however it’s a great shame that we had to take this to the media.

Storhet Auktioner Legal Services sent a letter of request to First Choice International following distressing claims from solicitors without our firm which could directly damage the private sale of military-grade assets to reputable and trustworthy consumers, from which we have received no response. In respect for the legal processes we’re looking to pursue, Storhet Auktioner is not willing to go into too much detail due to the likely event this civil case become criminal.

I do note that you mention ‘talks’ with FCI; If your talks involve significant payments, asset trade or services that are being paid for with public money we would be in a position to provide much more detail to the Kingdom of the Netherlands with a signed court order.

The Netherlands is currently in talks to host the headquarters of First Choice International. The claims you mention are worrying however at this time I can not believe them. First Choice International is one, of the largest military corporation on this planet, therefore having also built up a reputation of being a trustworthy partner.

Are you looking to pursue a case within the legal jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Sweden? As far as I am aware First Choice International does not have any business there.

Dear Mr Jans,

There is no doubt in my mind that any legal dispute against a giant organisation like First Choice International is going to be very difficult due to the reputation they hold on a global scale however Storhet Auktioner will do their very best to pursue this.

I respect your decision and your maturity in dealing with a potential threat to your national expenditure and we by no means expect you to take us at face value. The solicitor in me does want to advise you to be very weary of what you are signing up for and any financial transactions and contractual agreements should be thorough as well as providing the Kingdom of the Netherlands with a ‘backdoor’ escape plan should you need it.

Part of our request to FCI was for them to formally acknowledge the location of their headquarters; we will be actively involved in a legal case within the hosting nation and not within the Kingdom of Sweden. Are you able to confirm formally that First Choice International are legally registered in the Netherlands?

I cannot deny that you will face difficulty if you pursue such a case, predominantly because I see no legal basis for such a case to exist, at least from the information you have provided me at this moment. At this time I am not able to confirm the location of First Choice International's headquarters as they are still in talks with the Dutch government. At this time they have yet to submit their business registration to the Chamber of Commerce, however once they have done so you will be able to find them listed at the Chamber of Commerce.

We have intentionally held back any discussion regarding our legal action to prevent any future contempt of course or at the very least a compromise to our case. My team are in the process of developing a case file which we will file against First Choice International at the relevant local court.
