[Norway] Emergency Call to First Choice [ENDED]

Now that power was restored in Oslo, Prime Minister Leif Holt placed a phone call to the CEO of First Choice International. Any lower staff would be told that the call was a matter of life and death, and had to do with the current devastating conditions in the Kingdom of Norway. The Prime Minister waited patiently for an answer from the CEO of First Choice.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Alexander Smith was preoccupied in the Netherlands but he knew his Secretary would only forward urgent calls. Therefore, he excused himself from the room temporarily to answer...
"Hello? This is Mr. Smith of First Choice...."

"Mister Smith, this is the Prime Minister of Norway, Leif Holt. As I'm sure you're aware, we're suffering from a very devastating winter here in Scandinavia. The Minister of Defense, Ingvar, informed me that the Defense Ministry had placed several orders for vehicles that would be of benefit for us right now, namely a C-5 Galaxy among others. It's been quite some time since the order has been made - I'm calling to ask if we will get a delivery any time soon? We could really use it to transport food and other supplies to Norway."

 

[Hollie]

"Hello Sir. My sincere apologies for the Slow Production. First Choice are undertaking a business change, that temporarily disturbed our services and therefore wasn't able to make deliveries within the stipulated time. Your Lockheed C-5 Galaxy has been processed and should be delivered in a timely fashion. We understand the devastating impact that this terrible Winter has caused, therefore I'm willing to offer 5 Airbus A400M in our inventory as a substitute until your order arrives? With respect, First Choice will refund 50% of the order value and we'll subsequently offer enough supplies in your efforts to restore some normality... I regret this had to happen and do seek your lenience." / @Odinson

"I understand, Mister Smith. Thank you for explaining. We are still trying to de-ice and prepare our runways for use in these frigid temperatures, so unfortunately we cannot use the Airbuses, however they should be ready in time for the C-5. However, my government and I do appreciate that generous offer. Thank you for the discount and the supplies that I'm sure will be much needed for the Norwegian people. There is one more thing - I believe our original request was to have the aircraft delivered to the Port of Norway. The port is currently closed because Oslofjord is covered in about a foot of ice. If you could have it flown to Oslo Airport instead, we would greatly appreciate that."

"Thank you for being so understanding. You'll see a Pending Transfer from First Choice, with the 50% Refund as promised... And, I'll communicate all changes to our Lockheed Couriers as soon as I'm able. Will that be all, Sir?"
Meanwhile, Mr. Alexander Smith using his personal device would contact Lockheed Martin with the new Delivery Address and to arrange Food and Water Supplies for the Kingdom of Norway.

 

[Odinson]

"Yes, Mister Smith. I appreciate the actions you're taking to correct the problem. Let me know if there are any issues. Good bye." If First Choice CEO didn't try to add anything else, he hang up the phone and went back to running the government.

Michael would terminate the Phonecall and return to the office to resume his conversation with the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs.
