Congratulations on purchasing two RTBs from the Royal Norwegian Treasury. Attached to this letter are the two original copies of the RTBs in physical, printed form. These RTBs become valid once they have made it to you specifically, so that if they are somehow intercepted or lost in transit, they will not be valid. In our accounts, we have it recorded that these bonds are officially owned by the state of Japan. Please keep in mind that Japan can sell these bonds to other countries, companies, or individuals. If this is done, however, your government will need to contact my office as soon as possible and inform us of who the new owner of the bonds are. The three separate physical savings bonds were sent to the Japanese government as explained in the Treasurer's message. "Special Attention: Mr. Yasuo Matsushita" was written on them. Exact copies of each of the bonds existed in Norway, and each bond had a unique serial number. Countermeasures were in place within and on the bond itself to ensure that counterfeiting a bond would be a virtually impossible task to do. On the bonds, it stated when they were redeemable, and for how much. Due to transit, the bonds and the above letter from the Royal Treasurer would arrive in (24) hours.
