Those who surrendered would be taken by the Specialist Response Group and frisk searched for any weapons on their person. Once cleared, the uniform police officers would take them into their cars and drive them to the airport where they would be sent to the awaiting Russian aircraft on the ground at the airport after passing through Immigration and Security. The details of their passports would be noted down by Border Force as to prevent them from entering Australia again.

"Is that all of you?" one of the officers would say to one of the guards.

The Russian Ambassador would arrive from the hospital, stepping out of his car. He’d swiftly move past the Australian Police and Military Forces, making his way to the embassy, he’d have a disgusted expression on his face as he walked past the dead bodies.

He’d pause before pushing the main doors open and shouting out “Don’t shoot! It’s me Ostap, the Russian Ambassador” he’d pause shutting the doors behind him before moving in further, making his way to the Polish Guards that were left

Obviously you can't just walk up into a police operation/siege, the police would stop the Ambassador as he approached.

"Sir, please stand back, this an ongoing police operation. The situation is quite dangerous right now and we don't recommend you be here."

The Ambassador would speak into the microphone turning the speaker to loud “Don’t shoot! It’s me Ostap, the Russian Ambassador” he’d pause before continuing “I have been promised by the Australian Government if you law down your arms and come with me. You can leave this nation untouched and uninterrupted! Do this for your fellow comrades who have lost their lives to the shamefulness of this country. You’ll be welcomed as hero’s back home!” He’d pause waiting for them to come out of the building

Upon arriving at the airport, security officers would scan the men to make sure they had no weapons on themselves. They would be whisked through to Border Force who would stamp their diplomatic passports as leaving Australia and their details would be taken down on a refused future entry list. Airport staff and AFP Officers would escort them out to the awaiting Russian jet. The jet would be given taxi details from the tower and given permission to take off. Meanwhile at the Embassy, tape would be placed around it declaring it a crime scene. Investigators would move in and the Polish bodies would be taken away in body bags to the Canberra morgue. The weapons would be seized in evidence bags by police. 2nd Commando Regiment would return back to Holsworthy Barracks, Sydney with their two MRH-90s and the Specialist Response Group officers would return to their homes, the officers involved would be given leave for at least a week.

Meanwhile, arrangements would be made for DHL to send a Boeing 757 cargo plane, operated by Tasman Cargo Airlines, to Canberra to collect the bodies which would be placed in coffins. They would be transported to the airport by AFP vans and would be discreetly transported onto the aircraft via a back entrance to the airport. The DHL plane would leave Canberra with fuel stops in Singapore and Dubai before heading towards Warsaw. The Polish would be informed that the DHL aircraft was inbound with the bodies of all the deceased Polish.
