The Objectives, as laid out by High Command:

• Stalk the MV Express from Portsmouth to off the coast of Newfoundland
• Patrol the waters off of Ste Pierre and Miquelon
• Harass any ships that traverse the Northwest Atlantic
• Sink any submarines that approach or attempt to leave patrolled waters.
• Travel down the Eastern Seaboard of the United States
• Travel undetected through Bermudan Waters.
• make port at Saint Martin
• resupply at French Guiana
• resupply at Marseille
• resupply at Mayotte
• patrol Antarctic Waters
• Harass any vessels in Antarctic waters
• return to french waters

Deployment List​

• FRS Opale Rubis-class submarine, AMETHYSTE refit, Provisions and weapons room filled. 10x F17 mod2 Torpedoes, 4x SM39 Exocet Anti-ship missiles

The crew of the FRS Opale would be assembled at the Port of Brest as the munitions were loaded onto the ship and everything was prepared for this operation. This would all take place in private and the mission would be kept secret.
