Operation:

SENTINEL

>> Information Below is Highly Encrypted and Secret <<

Following the attack on the American capital of Washington D.C. and the assassination of the American President and various other government officials, it was decided between Canada and the new American leadership that Canada would monitor its borders and its waters in the hopes of being able to detect anyone or anything suspicious and potentially find evidence towards who or what performed the attack in Washington D.C.. The RCMP throughout the nation were placed on full alert and were to patrol the border areas of Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon Territory. The Canadian Coast Guard was tasked with monitoring the waters surrounding Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, British Columbia, the Saint Lawrence River, and Lake Ontario. Lastly, the Canadian Border Services Agency would also be placed on high alert and tasked with monitoring all activities from incoming traffic and arresting all suspicious individuals and either deporting them back to the United States or keeping them in containment until told otherwise.

With nothing out of the ordinary or suspicious coming through the border or occurring near the border, the RCMP, CBSA, and the CCG would all be taken off of high alert and the border would return to its usually operating status. However, if needed, the option to return all of these agencies back onto high alert would remain if things became tense on the border once again. Until then, however, Operation: SENTINEL would be considered completed.
