FOLLOWING THE EXTREME FORCE USED BY THE TURKS AGAINST CONGOLESE PEACEKEEPERS IN INNOCENT JEWS, THE MIDDLE EASTERN CRISIS IS DECREED BY EMPEROR OMARI GOWON AS A HUMANITARIAN AND NATIONAL EMERGENCY AND IS PUTTING THE ARMED FORCES OF THE NATION ON FULL ALERT. WHAT FOLLOWS IS THE NAVAL DEPLOYMENT OF OPERATION TRUE COLOR II. ​

TOP SECRET
A full naval deployment would be prepared. All ships will follow the route JI>II>IK>IL>IM>JM>KM, consisting of 80 Hours OOC travel time [08Feb22, 0942 hours EST], and coming to rest in Lemnos, within Greek territorial waters. All precautions would be taken once crossing Longitude 36 to not cross into Turkish waters. All radars and weapons would be alert.

Non-Combatant:
ONE Combi-Freighter 3850, loaded with the armored vehicles for the 1st Armored Regiment and 10th Armored Regiment, as well as 40 GAZ-66 Light Utility Trucks taken out of storage.

Combatant:
CNV "Supply" & CNV "Demand", Boris Chilikin-Class Fleet Oilers, 75 crew each, each armed with 2 dual 57mm AK-725 dual purpose cannons and 2 30mm AK-630 CIWS rotary cannons. These two ships will resupply all ships incapable of completing the voyage on their own, with both fuel and provisions for the crew.

CNV "Talwar", CNV "Airburst", CNV "Detonation", & CNV "Demolition", Talwar-Class Stealth Missile Frigates, 180 crew each, armed with eight-cell VLS accommodating 3M-54E Klub-N anti-ship missiles, 24 Shtil SAMs, 8 Igla-1E missiles, 2 Kashtan CIWS each consisting of two GSh-30k (AO-18K) six-barreled 30 mm Gatling guns and two SA-N-11 SAM clusters. The system also includes a storing and reloading system to keep 32 SAMs in container launchers in the vessel's under-deck spaces. 1 100 mm A-190(E) gun. 1 RPK-8 ASW system, 2 twin 533 mm DTA-53-11356 fixed torpedo tube launchers to fire the SET-65E/53-65KE torpedoes. Each carrying 1 Ka-31. To form the center of the surface formation.

CNV "Banana", Oscar II Class Nuclear Submarine, 94 crew, armed with 4 × 533 mm (21.0 in) and 2 × 650 mm (26 in) torpedo tubes in the bow, 28 × 533 mm and 650 mm RPK-6 Vodopad/RPK-7 Veter anti-submarine missiles (20 RPK-6, 8 RPK-7) all armed with conventional explosives, 24 × P-700 Granit Cruise Missiles armed with 750 kilogram high explosive warheads. To trail a short distance behind the main fleet, submerged, so as to provide backup in case of an attack from a safe distance.

CNV "Tarantule" & Ta-Cv-99-02, Ta-Cv-99-03, Ta-Cv-99-04, Ta-Cv-99-05, Ta-Cv-99-06, Tarantul-class Corvettes, 50 crew, armed with 4 SS-N-22 Sunburn missiles, 1 SA-N-8 quadruple MANPAD launcher, 1 76 mm AK-176 dual purpose main gun, 1 Kashtan CIWS.

Once arriving at the Island, the ships would loiter in the water, all armaments at the ready, prepared for an attack. The Ka-31 Helicopters would fly out just a few kilometers from the ships, still within Greek waters, and search with their early warning radars for incoming Turkish Aircraft, Vessels, or Missiles.

This action will be shared with Australia and Israel. They are asked to not spread this information outside of themselves.

The ships would finally arrive at their destination, stopping just a few miles outside of Greek territorial waters. The surface fleet would loiter at ~(39°59'47.8"N 24°41'30.3"E), while the "Banana" would hang back at ~(39°45'22.8"N 23°16'15.4"E). As previously stated, Ka-31 Helicopters would be sent out to monitor the surrounding airspace and surface for incoming Ships, Aircraft, or Missiles. Without any response from Anti-Turkish governments, the Combi-Freighter 3850, loaded with armored vehicles, would dock at the Port of Sines in Portugal, under civilian flags. It would rest there until called upon once more, either to continue its operation or to return to its homeland.

The fleet would refuel and restock rations and potable water from the CNV "Supply" and CNV "Demand". After these operations were completed, The Ka-31 helicopters would report back via radio: They had detected two frigate-sized targets coming through the Dardanelles Strait. Three of the Ka-31s would return to their Talwar Stealth Frigates, the fourth flying a distance of 30 miles behind them. The 4 Talwar-Class Frigates, CNV "Talwar", CNV "Airburst", CNV "Detonation", & CNV "Demolition", would turn off all radar/sonar and retreat back to ~(40°33'23.3"N 24°18'53.1"E). The Ka-31 would provide radar monitoring for the entire voyage, ensuring that the Frigates' Stealth technology would enable it to go under the radar and unnoticed.

The 6 Trantul-class Corvettes CNV "Tarantule", Ta-Cv-99-02, Ta-Cv-99-03, Ta-Cv-99-04, Ta-Cv-99-05, & Ta-Cv-99-06, would sail South 16 miles to ~(39°48'21.3"N 24°53'42.4"E), radars off, until they broke the cover of the island of Limnos. From there, they would activate their radars and sonars before targeting the twin vessels, located at ~(39°39'20.2"N 26°00'54.4"E). CNV "Tarantule", Ta-Cv-99-02, and Ta-Cv-99-03 would each fire 2 SS-N-22 Sunburn missiles. CNV "Tarantule" would fire 2 missiles at TCG G-11, Ta-Cv-99-02 would fire 2 missiles at TCG G-12, and Ta-Cv-99-03 would fire 1 missile at each. The ships would be at full alert, all crew bracing while the missiles fired. All 6 Kashtan CIWSs across the ships would be active, each system consisting of two six-barreled rotary autocannons and 8 9M311K missiles, with 32 missiles in storage for each system.

This total coverage, 48 missiles and 12 rotary cannons all lined up supporting these vessels, should prevent any counter fire from harming the sailors on these vessels.

G-Class TCG G-11 firing a harpoon missile at the Congolese Fleet​

The G-Class Frigates were one of the most advanced air defense assets of the entire Turkish naval forces by far, made to defend themselves from any aerial threat whether it be aircraft of missile the vessels were armed with 1 × Mk 15 Phalanx CIWS, and 32 × ESSM launched from Mk-41 VLS systems. Additionally the vessels were armed with advanced Havelsan GENESiS integrated radars which could track virtually any missile and send data to surrounding vessels to target the missile or any other target.
As the missiles approached on radar crew were told to man their battle stations and prepare to return fire against the now visible enemy vessels that were still unidentified but assumed to be American. The Vertical Launch system would fire volleys of RIM-162 Missiles at the incoming threats and take them down one by one without even needing to use the CIWS systems Though it was active on infrared in case any somehow got through.
TCG G-11 and TCG G-12 would then position their vessels to return fire against the un identified six vessels that had fired the missiles. TCG G-11 would lock onto and fire one harpoon missile at each of the radar contacts and TCG G-12 would fire a similar six harpoon missiles at all six targets. Within seconds the systems would then lock on to the leading vessel(CNV "Tarantule") and fire their remaining four harpoon missiles at the ship hoping to overwhelm any possible missile defenses with six missiles for a single ship.
Locking back onto the vessels, the ships would lock onto the Congolese fleet with their RIM 66 Standard Block 2 missiles and begin sailing at 18 knots and proceed to close in on the enemy fleet where their VLS systems could decimate the enemy in a mass attack.
The ships would reload their Harpoon missiles though this could take some time and prepare for another attack by the enemy fleet.

A message would be sent to navy command indicating that contact had been made and targets were being pursued at the moment.

The Staff Team have determined that the G-class Frigate would not include the GENESIS Modernisation, as these were not implemented until 2007. These are essentially Oliver Hazard Perry-class, therefore Axis can access anything that these Vessels are equipped with. Please continue as normal, with consideration to this information.

The Ships would use their 20 mm Phalanx CIWS, Mark 36 SRBOC, and SLQ-32(V)5 jammer instead to shoot down the missiles. All other maneuvers are the same as mentioned above.

As the Sunburn missiles approached the Turkish Frigates, the combination of onboard jamming systems, as well as the chaff cannons, redirected the majority of the missiles off course, sending them into the open ocean or flying wide around the ships. However, two managed to maintain a lock and were subsequently destroyed by the Phalanx systems. With the corvettes' initial probing barrage complete, the crews would brace for counter-fire. The harpoon missiles, fired from each ship's single Mark 13 Missile Launcher, would take 22 seconds between each round fired. With only two missiles coming in every 22 seconds, the six Kashtan systems would have no problem shooting down every incoming warhead without having to waste a single missile or chaff cannon. 12 high-powered cannons would all focus on the two-at-a-time missiles, obliterating them before they get into range. At the end of this slow-moving barrage, the Corvette fleet would begin moving at full speed at an interception trajectory towards the frigates, stopping and trailing about fifty kilometers from the G-class frigates, retreating to keep the same distance if approached. The four Talwar-class Frigates would, under radio silence with the exception of the lead ship, which would still have radars and such offline but limited communications online, turn 180 degrees and begin following the corvettes at about 5km distance. The small signatures could be confused with the unidentified corvettes, the minimal communications signatures considered rogue signals from the smaller ships. The Ka-31 would remain in the air another twenty miles behind the formation, providing accurate radar cover for the entire fleet in the region, landing and refueling as necessary.

F-16s flying in finger formation with the Air to Air Armed F-16 on the outside​

Pursuing the Congolese ships would be the two vessels TCG G-11(TCG Gazientep) and TCG G-12(TCG Eker) running at 18 knots and closing on the Congolese ships who were already being tracked via radar from both of the vessels so it would be pretty hard for the ships to just mix up the radar signatures with other vessels. The two Frigates would stay around 200 feet apart and begin the hunt for the Congolese vessels, the ships would radio to Air Force command the coordinates of the four Congolese ships on radar and given 5 minute updates to re-identify the current location. The loaded Harpoon missiles would re-lock onto the Congolese ships and prepare to fire. The SLQ-32(V)5 jammers would be active to disperse any incoming missiles. The Ships would fire simultaneously with the attacking 3rd and 4th Interception squadrons when they fired their own missiles.

Air force command would be on high alert already from the recent bombardments by the American, British, and Russian missile forces and would be abuzz after the reports that the attacking vessels were Congolese. Given that the Congolese convoys certainly did not have any aerial support in that region and their vessels likely lacked the long range air defenses of the Americans and British the 3rd and 4th Squadrons from Bandırma AFB(not yet hit by missile attacks) would be ordered to load Anti Ship armaments and take off immediately. In total 25 aircraft from each squadron would participate with each squadron with the following loadouts: [20x F-16A- Fully loaded M6A1 Vulcan Canon, 2x AIM-9 Sidewinders, 4x Harpoon Block 1D Missiles, ALE-40 Chaff. 5x F-16A- Fully loaded M6A1 Vulcan Canon, 2x AIM-9 Sidewinders, 6x Raytheon AMRAAM, 1x Ejectable Fuel tank, ALE-40 Chaff.].
The Squadrons would elephant walk their way down the airfield after being loaded and fueled and begin taking off simultaneously and forming up into two major squadron groups which were then divided into a four Finger formation with one Interceptor load-out in each of the 4 parts. The Reaming Extra 5 aircraft(4x AS, 1x AA) would maintain a V formation above the squadron and maintain high alert. The F-16A Interception configuration would guard the aircraft on the outside while the Anti Ship Configuration would maintain a formation at the inside of the squadron. The two squadrons each a 2km apart would get to a distance of around 210km at 36,000 Feet before locking onto their targets of which the 40 F-16A-AS would divide the targets accordingly with 10 Aircraft for each vessel targeted. The F-16s would then distance themselves from eachother and fire 40x harpoon missiles per vessel, firing each missile successively with a gap of around 2-3 seconds in between each. Once missiles were away and already radar locked with guidance from the G-Class Frigates and their own radars the F-16As would turn around and instead of landing at their original base instead the aircraft would land at Izmir International Airport(Flying into the airport at a height of 200 feet to avoid detection) where they would land at the empty airport since all civilian aircraft had been grounded nationwide. The Aircraft would taxi into the empty hangers in secret and begin refueling and receiving their armaments so that they could begin another strike-if needed.
Meanwhile at Bandirma AFB dummy aircraft were being assembled to make it appear as though all aircraft were in fact still there. Operations would still take place with a skeleton crew as the command group moved to Izmir International airport along with the two HQ-9 SAM systems stationed there as well. Similar actions would be taken nationwide by air Force squadrons would would begin building dummy aircraft and evacuating crews to the newly made Air Force command strips being built in the central region.

The G-Class which were still tracking the Congolese vessels would fire their Harpoon Missiles approximately 30 seconds before the Block 1D Missiles were due to reach their targets, this way the Congolese would waist valuable ammunition defending against the two missiles fired from both vessels at the two leading Congolese vessels. Only a total of 2 Harpoon Missiles would be fired to conserve ammunition. Following the missiles firing the ships would continue their pursuit and ready to conduct recovery and rescue operations for the Congolese which were about to be annihilated in perhaps the greatest Naval massacre of all time. There was absolutely no way a single vessel even with CIWS would stand any chance against the harpoon missile barrage and since the vessels had separated there was no way that the Congoelse vessels could practice triage and defend one vessel at the sacrifice of the other three.

The Turks had severely underestimated the Congolese fleet, it was incredibly clear, and they had also somehow managed to misread their radars. They had launched only 2 missiles at the Corvette force, launching all of their 160 other Harpoon missiles at the four faint signatures they had yet to properly identify, the signatures which to their knowledge had smaller than corvette-sized radar readings. As the missiles were spotted on the Ka-31s radar, all 4 Talwar class frigates jumped into action, their radar systems coming online in seconds, the interconnected radar systems providing detailed and accurate detection and targeting.

The first 2 Harpoon missiles, detected in advance, would be quickly shot down by the Tarantul's Kashtan CIWS' guns. Then, as predicted based on the radar readings, dozens of missiles appeared visibly skimming the water. Then, the Kashtan systems kicked in. Immediately, all 6 Kashtan systems launched their missiles simultaneously. 48 missiles flew forward, each striking the slow and large targets of the Harpoon missiles. Then, the guns opened up once more, taking down another 32 missiles as the swarm passed. The Harpoons, incapable of retargeting during flight, would simply fly by the corvettes and on towards their Frigate targets behind them, completely ignoring the smaller ships and allowing them to safely gun down missiles as they came at a relatively slow rate, waves coming every 3 seconds. As well as this, all 6 ships would fire off their chaff cannons and activate their jamming systems, laying down a thick layer of radar-disrupting metal in the air that would ruin 24 missiles guidance systems, throwing them either too far off-course to re-calibrate or into the ocean, mistaking the water for their targets.

As the remaining 56 Harpoon missiles shot past and towards the Talwar class frigates, the four significantly larger frigates activated their arsenal of defensive systems. They would fire off one of their chaff cannons each, activating their own more advanced jammers and firing off the required 56 missiles from their own Kashtan systems, all of which would succeed in tracking down and blowing the remaining harpoons to bits. Following this, all ship's Kashtan systems would reload their missiles from their under-deck magazines, fully prepared for the enemy's next barrage.

With the Turkish swarm attack successfully defeated, the Congolese ships would prepare and fire off their full salvo: 12 Sunburn missiles would launch, simultaneously, from all of the Tarantul-Class Corvettes. 3 Klub missiles would launch from each of the Talwar Frigates, for a total of 12. All of these weapons are terminally supersonic, at above Mach 3 in approach, making them significantly harder to target and hit by the Phalanx system than the subsonic harpoons that were taken down by the already superior in firepower Kashtan system. These missiles would be evenly distributed between the two Turkish frigates.

24 missiles, traveling at over 3 times the speed of the Harpoon missiles, targeting ships with only 2 CIWS systems that lack the incorporated missiles and have less than half the firepower of a single Kashtan system, of which 14 were employed by the Congolese, and which only have two jamming systems as opposed to the four used by the Congolese frigates, not counting the additional 6 weaker ones employed by the corvettes, and with only two chaff cannons as opposed to the ten used by the Congolese. A high hit probability was unavoidable.

As a limited few of the missiles are shot down, and a few distracted by the Turk's chaff and jamming systems, about 4 of the missiles would strike each ship, the majority of them being the Klub missiles which were to be fired with a very, very slight delay before the Sunburn missiles to ensure that they arrived only seconds behind the lower-payload and slower Sunburn missiles which were to act as shields to distract the limited defenses of the frigates. The 500kg high explosive warheads would decimate the ships, likely reaching deep into the interior and all the way to the magazine of 40 missiles aboard each ship. The thunderous booms of the two subsequent magazine detonations would be heard clearly by the crew of the Congolese ships, and slowly twin pillars of smoke began appearing over the horizon, confirming the kills. The Ka-31 helicopter, hovering 3,000 meters in the air, would capture footage with a high-resolution camera of the distant ruined husks of ships. Footage of the ships taking on the missile swarm would also be collected.

At this, their mission was considered a success, and the Frigate/Corvette force, along with their replenishment vessels, would B-line it along their original course back for the Congo, hoping to avoid being intercepted by more Turkish vessels.

Hello Kelly the Mad and Axis12 ,

With assistance from our Players Alex and Manbear, we have determined that one Talwar-class Frigate would be destroyed beyond repair, and another two are moderately damaged from the attack by Turkey in Post #10. At least 100 fatalities are expected on the Talwar-class that was destroyed, with several more injured. The other two would have at least 15 fatalities and 40 personnel with serious to minor injuries. Any more damage would be unreasonable, as Kelly confirmed six Trantul-class Corvettes were positioned in front of the Frigates of a distance of 5KM whose Radars, alongside the KA-31 which was providing accurate radar cover to ensure enough time was given to adequately deflect the incoming attack.
