This is the office of the Grand Chancellor who is a Grand Officer of the Order and is Malta's chief diplomat. All directives to the rest of the Foreign Priory come from this office.

This office is home to the Prior of Foreign Affairs which is the second-highest office in the Priory of Foreign Affairs. The office is responsible for establishing diplomatic relations with other governments, handling direct communications with foreign governments, scheduling meetings between diplomats of the Order and foreign diplomats, and handling the establishment of embassies.
