Thai Parliamentary Police Patch
Thailand's Parliament Police play a different role than other state security forces because of the country's confederate government and socialist participatory democratic system. They are in charge of keeping the peace and protecting the National Assembly. They work at Sappaya-Sapasathan and do not include the Red Service military or the national police. These officers represent the de-escalation and people-centered security tenets that underpin Thai policing, and the National Assembly and the Committee on Police Affairs regulate them. Their responsibilities include maintaining the complexes of Sappaya-Sapasathan and managing access for visitors, representatives, and representatives of worker cooperatives and community assemblies. They strive to ensure that Assembly sessions and public forums are conducted in an orderly manner by promoting communication and employing non-violence to put an end to any potential disruptions, while also supporting the Speaker in upholding civil discourse. Furthermore, Parliamentary Police training places a strong emphasis on public relations, conflict resolution, and understanding the variety of perspectives found in the Assembly complex.
