[PHILGEPS] Invitation to Bid: Trainer Aircrafts for Philippine Air Force

The Department of National Defense has publicly open a project tender titled Trainer Aircrafts for Philippine Air Force via Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) for the following items:


1. Basic Trainer: turbo-propeller, single or double engine = 36 units

2. Basic Jet Trainer, subsonic or supersonic = 18 units (awarded to Nexus Limited)

3. Advanced Jet Trainer/Lead-in fighter trainer, supersonic = 12 units (awarded to Nexus Limited)

4. Tactical Airlift trainer, cargo plane, minimum 2x engines - turboprop or jet = 6 units

5. Rotary aircraft trainer, light helicopter = 36 units

6. UAV's = 6 units

Interested bidders are welcome to send their offers, both as partial or complete package, to the Department of National Defense

Nexus Limited, the new parent company of BAE Systems would sent a quotation to the Philippines, suggesting 30 BAE System Hawk 127 Aircraft to cover the requirements for #2 and #3.

Hence, please re-submit your quotation to include:

1. 12x BAE Hawk 127 advanced jet trainer including complete with integrated logistic support (ILS), training, and manuals.

2. 18x Aermacchi S.211 basic jet trainer including complete with integrated logistic support (ILS), training, and manuals.
