Minister Robles, I am writing you this communication to inform the Spanish government, as the proper thing to do, that Poland will be hosting a small military exercise inside the Mediterranean just outside the Strait of Gibraltar to monitor foreign warships entering the Mediterranean in an effort to jeopardize the sovereignty and regional integrity of Europe. We would welcome Spanish participation in the exercise but we realize that Spain has it's own priorities. The following nations may be stopped and refused entry into the Mediteranean should the commander believe they are jeopardizing the regional stability: Republic of Thailand Kingdom of Canada The following nations are have a history of jeopardizing relations with foreign nationals, particularly those in Europe and North Africa. It is our hope that this operation will help prevent the furthering the risk of regional instability.

A junior staffer from within the office of Minister Margarita Robles who was responsible for handling incoming and outgoing communications took a copy of the email on a secure hard drive before deleting the actual email itself and not informing the minister herself about the communication. This was all done in secret.
