Insignia of the Royal Assembly

Description

The Royal Assembly, based on the previously known Assembly of the Republic, is one of the most important organs of supreme authority. Based on the Royal Constitution of 1990, drafted and approved by the King himself, the Assembly can dismiss a government through the so called, vote of no confidence. The Assembly also has extensive Legislative powers and substantial control over the budget, the power to ratify treaties and international agreements, and the duty to approve or reject decisions of the King to make War or Peace. The Assembly consists of 250 members, and they are democratically elected by the people every 5 years. After the fall of the Republic due to the protests of 1989, the assembly was responsible for drafting the new constitution and reinstating the royalty.
