| PROJECT INFORMATION | A 40-story office building in Alexandria, the SAFA Building would stand about 600 feet tall-- significantly higher than the prior highest building in the city. With the top 8 floors occupied by the SAFA, the other 30 commercial floors would be leased out to companies, with two floors reserved for maintenance and storage. The building would contain plenty of well-furnished office space and common areas, as well as a restaurant on the top floor. Built to fit the existing skyline along the jagged coast, much of the building's facade would be made of stone, with the exterior wall facing the sea made entirely of glass plate. This unique combination of traditional materials and a modern waterfront aesthetic would give the tallest building in Alexandria a commanding presence sure to be noticed by anyone entering the city. |
