PROJECT INFORMATION | Following the Civil War the Empress has formed the Ministry of National Recovery, which is tasked with overseeing the reconstruction of French infrastructure. As part of this effort the Ministry has launched the Infrastructure Recovery Program which seeks to repair damaged but salvageable infrastructure. The program provides for the repair of France's national road and rail networks, airports, sea ports, government buildings, hospitals, schools, bridges, power plants and waterways. The investment of 2 billion is believed to be sufficient to completely repair this infrastructure back to pre-Civil War levels and as a result encourage increased economic development of not just the capital region but also areas more heavily affected by the conflict. The first program focuses especially on the Duchy of Normandy, the Grand Duchy of Aquitaine, the Duchy of Orléans, the Duchy of Alsace-Lorraine, and the Duchy of Burgundy |
