| PROJECT INFORMATION | The Scandinavian Research Institute is the Research and Development (R&D) facility for the Kingdom of Norway. COST: $500,000,000 LOCATION: On Lake Rengen near the Swedish border, but fully within Norway BUILDINGS: 1. Three two-story office buildings with office-space for 150 employees each. 2. Two large research laboratories (with several underground levels) where chemical, biological, and other research can be done in controlled and safe isolated environments. These labs have decontamination rooms and the proper means to suppress fires or flash-clean the rooms in the event of a contamination. 3. A large open area to test land-based vehicles. 4. A large open area to test missiles and explosives; as well as the proper launching mechanisms. 5. Several test runways, one of which is three miles long, and a large open area to allow aircraft to fly around and be tested. 6. Two large shipyards that could construct a ship as large as the Montana-class battleship, but can be easily adjusted to construct much smaller vessels (located on the lake). 7. A large marina on the lake to dock prototypes. 8. A massive amount of storage space. 9. Two massive hangers to store and construct aircraft, along with 10 smaller ones. 10. An emergency services headquarters to provide relief in the event of accidents. 11. The entire area is fenced off with a perimeter road, an advanced surveillance system, and a ground-monitoring system to detect footsteps. 12. An armory and shooting range to test small arms and other weapons. 13. A railyard and proper facilities to design trains. 14. A designated area and proper buildings to design and construct ground vehicles and locomotives. |
