| PROJECT INFORMATION | Russian Aviation and Space Agency Vostochny Cosmodrome Locations 51°53′04.39″N 128°20′05.2″E Tsiolkovsky, Amur Oblast Total area is 551.5 km2 Construction Consists of main facility, and Vostochny Cosmodrome Site 1S for use with the Soyuz-U2. Specs are roughly based on the 2011 plans for the Vostochny Cosmodrome but with 1990s era technology. Connecting railway to the Ledyanaya rail station + Baikal–Amur Mainline and a service road branching from the Chita–Khabarovsk Highway. Power is supplied by the Zeyskaya Hydroelectric Power Station. |
