PROJECT INFORMATION | With the growing Rattanakosin Navy and Air Force and the forming of new alliances, the Crown has put aside some funds to construct a new naval base with various capabilities including air force basing. The base would be built around the coordinates of 8.110706, 98.747053 and would be approximately six by six kilometres in size. The facilities would include: docks with capacity to host roughly 10 large ships roughly the size of cruisers and aircraft carriers, about a dozen smaller ships roughly the size of corvettes, and various logistical and support ships. Warehouses, deposits, fuel silos, and repair docks would all be present facilities in the base. Alongside this would be built ramps and installations of loading cranes and refueling systems. The dragging of waterways would be done to guarantee safe operations for large hull ships and submarines. Deeper into the territory would be installations of naval and aerial surveillance radars, establishment of a secure perimeter with security fences, cameras, and control checkpoints. Throughout the base would be various autonomous energy generator, living quarters for all crews and posted personnel (Including spacing for roughly 500 marines). Aerial facilities, hangars, a control tower, equipment, an operation tarmac, and one 3,962 meter runway would also be built. Underground hangers with direct access to the tarmac, capable of holding TU-22M3 sized aircraft would be constructed. Landing and air operation assist and systems would be introduced and lastly all other structure and systems required for the safe operation of air and sea units would be made. None of the streets and roads and highways of Thailand would be affected by the construction of this base. |
