I would like to firstly, extend my congratulations on winning the elections, hopefully your nation will have a lot to gain from your leadership and you guidance, especially after the fall of the Soviet Union, secondly we would like to open formal relations with your nation, being European nations it seems only logical that we should strive for a partnership. This is why I would like to formally have our ambassador meet your Foreign Minister to create the foundation of such partnership. Would it be possible to start this meeting today?

Further more, Prussia is looking for more partners in Europe in order to create more Military Cooperation between all its nations, a United Europe is a strong Europe! Do you share the same view? This is because we would like to have one of your ships visit one of your ports to engage in a cultural military exchange, by letting your citizens visit the ship and talking to its crew, we would also love to have one of your own ships visit one of our ports to do the same, would this be possible?
Kind Regards,

Chancellor Bruno von Brandenburg,

I thank you for your kind words. For better or for worse, Ukraine has certainly experienced changes since the fall of the Union. We hope our new state will find friendship in Europe.

I have forwarded your previous email to Borys Tarasyuk, our Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is available in his office today at 4:30 or tomorrow at 2:00.

A visit from the Prussian Navy would be inappropriate at this time as our relations with our Black Sea neighbors are unfortunately strained. We do not wish to give them any impression of a threat. Perhaps at a future point in time we could revisit this idea, as we agree that a united Europe would be strong and prosperous.

Would it be possible for us to be given more information about your relationship with your Black Sea neighbours? I fail to view a single Prussian Ship being such a threat towards your neighbours, perhaps it as you mentioned it would be best if we then refrain from doing this exchange for now.

I have informed the Ambassador in the Prussian Embassy, and he will arrive shortly.

Borys Tarasyuk sat in his private and secure office, quickly reviewing his emails on Prussian relations. The room smelled of coffee and fresh paper. The Ambassador would no doubt be arriving soon. Whenever he did, Demko, the black-suited guard outside the office door, had been instructed to knock and allow him entry.

Tarasyuk leaned back in his seat, taking one last sip from his mug and turning his attention to the two print-outs on his desk. He only had a second to scowl at them before a rap at the door alerted him to his visitor.

“Ambassador,” he said, rising from his chair to greet him with a handshake and smile. “It’s a pleasure to be meeting with you. Please, take a seat.” He nodded at the two leather chairs in front of his desk. "From my understanding we have much to discuss."
