After all special force groups finished their formalized training, they would return back to the field for further practical and tactical training with armament, including mobile shooting ranges.

They would start with practicing target detection skills consisting of scanning and picking out hidden targets while also stealthily closing the distance to ensure a first round hit while remaining hidden.
The next day they would practice in depth orienteering skills with both classroom and in the field practical application exercises of pace count, dead reckoning, locating natural and man made features, as well as following a plotted course.

All theoretical and practical classes and exercises would be performed at the facilities of the Kaohsiung Military Academy as well as on the surrounding terrain, which includes forest, open field and urban terrain. This would be done for the commandos to be ready to operate on any given terrain, according to the assigned mission with proficiency.
