Given the sale of Russian equipment was of paramount important to Swedish national security the responsible agency, aptly named the National Security Office, would covertly collate the information publicly published by the Russian Armed Forces Auction - this information is stored and retained by the Department of Defence as the portfolio holder for this kind of retrieval. This information would be passed to the appropriate analysts to begin the study of the listed equipment, their cost, and their potential implications to Sweden should they ever be used offensively; from here, if it were necessary, the analysis would develop briefing packs that could be disseminated across the Swedish Armed Forces if required.
