[RW] National Address - Rwandan National Radio

The honorable leader of the Rwandan government, Paul Kagame, walks onto the stage. The stage was decorated with the flag of the nation, more fractured than ever, the Tutsi's and Hutu's near the point of another civil war. Experiencing one of the worst genocides in human history, the chancellor has a lot to address. The chancellor steps to the podium, being showered with a mix of nasty boos and revering applause. He opens his mouth as the speech begins."

"This message goes to all the people of Rwanda. We have just experienced one of the worst events in human history. A political turmoil and human tragedy rarely seen in civilized history. IT was 100 days of terror and bloodshed, of broken families and absolute barbarity. Blame has been placed on different groups and tribes, but that's the problem. We still identify with tribe system that should have been thrown out long ago. We are not Hutu's, we are not Tutsi's. We are the greatest nation on Earth. We are the greatest people on this planet, we are Rwandans!" The crowd begins to cheer and applaud, Kagame waiting for the crowd to calm down a bit.
"From this day, forward, we are throwing away the primitive tribe system, because we are all the same great people. We are gods people, and our stability and faith was tested through these 100 hard and scary days. We made it through these hard times, like we were destined too. We are the modern day Israelites and we were destined to change not only Africa, but the world.
However, just like the Israelites of ancient times, we have our own Babylon. That Babylon is the European powers that instilled hatred into our people. To separate and destroy our great nation and people and our history. The disgusting actions of the Europeans and their joy in watching us suffer will not be tolerated or ignored. However, since we made it through these testing times and the Babylon is gone, we are going to need to rebuild to reach our full potential. I like to call this plan - 'Kangura.'

Firstly, starting today, we will be outlawing the referring to other citizens by tribe. Tutsi and Hutu is obsolete. We will not be controlled by classification, we are simply Rwandans. Rebuilding the relations between our people is the first step to reaching our potential. Exiled Rwandans too afraid to live in their homeland may return as we clean up this country. They are safe and will be helped through their troubling times.
We are a poor country, but that's a problem that we will try to fix. We want to encourage our young
entrepreneurs to stir up business and industry. It will be easier than ever to create a business in our country. We will also be investing in infrastructure projects to not only create a better nation, but to increase jobs as well.

The poverty problem is not the only one we have however, theres an even bigger one. The problem of knowledge and education. Education is an aspect we used to heavily ignore. That will be no longer. We have raised funding for education and school facilities. No longer will children be taught in cheap wooden school houses on broken benches. Schools will now be clean with more modern textbooks, and teachers will be properly trained at good universities. Children will now have to have a required education from 5 - 12, with various different fields being taught to get them ready for the work force or possibly more. We want to be creating scientist and able bodied workers, not starving people. To pay for these ventures, we are looking to invest in various international companies, along with other economic ventures." He pauses for a moment as the crowd claps for a few seconds.
"Thank you everyone, we will make it through these hard times, we are a great African nation that has such a bright future. We are gods people, and during the next year, I hope you feel the change. Thank you."

The South African Government would congratulate Rwanda for moving forward and being able to reconcile their nation, but is hoping that their references to the "European powers" doesn't include an Afrikaner-led South Africa which the South African Government considers an Indigenous African group.
