A television segment lasting no longer than three of four minutes would begin to play after a short introductory note by the host, on Belgrade's B92 company TV channel...
"A political conference is taking place in Pirot in the south-east of the country today, led by several former members of the conservative and nationalist currents existing in the country...."
A short panorama lasting a few seconds a view of the hill country and bright blue sunny day free of clouds. It would pan around towards what looks like a villa or inn, with a large hardwood table on a patio, where some men and a few women would be seen as seemingly having some form of conference over lunch...
"Ivica Dacic has been declared by the conference as the leader of the group, a former member of the socialist party SPS. Just last week, he had given his reisgnation at SPS, saying the party is no longer relevant to the needs of the people and that he would be looking at creating a new party. A reply to our television company by the conference's organizers has been actuated and we have been informed that the conference is intended to establish a new political current..."
The camera would begin to zoom into some of the faces at the table, shifting to another one by one...
"With what we have ascertained, we can say safely the new party will be called the Pirot League, and it will be organized not just in Serbia, but all of the countries of former Yugoslavia, as well as Albania and Bulgaria. Mr. Dacic has stated that this new party will follow the lines of Slavic unification, concillation of the Serbian people will all of their south Slavic brothers, and extended that Albania can only be free if it joins such a federation in good will with the rest of the south Slavs, with whom they share more than any other country in the world. He added that such a party will for the next few months refrain from any economic policy planning. For now, it has been stated by the Pirot League that they are preparing to contest the new elections in Serbia, and will work and invest in branches in the remaining countries it seeks to target with contesting the elections."
The camera would show a snippet of Belgrade, specifically panning down the road where the Serbian parliament is situated.
"Mr. Dacic has said that he is confident about the upcoming elections, that he will not yet reveal who his partners in the remaining countries are. He has also expressly confirmed his admiration and support of the new 1999 provisional government, complimenting its parliamentary and democratic structure. He added that reconcilliation and dialogue is necessary to recover the south Slavic countries out of the quagmire they are in. He has also vowed to take a more revolutionary approach to societal organization and to fight for the people instead of being an armchair politician."
