Spanish Air Force

The Spanish Air Force has deemed it necessary to prepare and train the 12th Wing to be an elite unit protecting Madrid, the Spanish capital. Training would be undertaken over the next couple of weeks to prepare the unit ready for immediate deployment as a 'Rapid Deployment Wing' - one of many to be trained in the Spanish Air Force. The 12th Wing which includes 200 Regular Personnel and 10 General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon's would be receiving the training in the exercise. The Spanish Air Force has also commanded the 37th Wing with 50 Regular Personnel and a singular CASA C-212 Aviocar being utilised for the exercise.

The Spanish Air Force will test the 12th Wing in a number of different simulation scenarios along the period of the exercise and if they did not pass tests at the end of the exercise, they could face dismissal from the Spanish Air Force completely.

Personnel would be welcomed to Aeronautical Techniques School at Torrejón Air Base where they would undergo various training exercises over the coming weeks to ensure they made the cut to become a pilot of one of many Rapid Deployment Wings which would soon be created under the new regime of the Spanish Air Force. Commanders decided that they were lacking behind their fellow European countries.

Personnel would undergo various training workshops over the coming three days to ensure that their knowledge of the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, these workshops would be undertaken by pilots, ground crew as well as any other supporting staff to ensure that they were always familiar with knowledge on the air frame, aerodynamics, the systems of the aircraft as well as weapons.
