A Statement directly from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Rafael Cortés, regarding the explosion on the United States Capitol.
The Kingdom of Spain is sadden today by the explosion that as taken place in the United States Capitol, the Kingdom of Spain formally extends its most sincere condolences to the people of the United States and its Administration and its prepared to give any aid necessary to its Government to help it in this dark day if it so requires. The United States is not alone in this day and still has friendly nations like Spain to provide any necessary means to help. However, if it is proven that the United States as been deliberately attacked by any unknown force, the Kingdom of Spain will condem this cowardly attack on innocent people and will stand by the United States against them.
